What on earth is happening politically? That's the question of the summer! We will see exactly what is going on at the highest level in the world!

Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" You don't even know your own heart without the Word of God and without the Holy Spirit of God to convict you of right and wrong. One of the most frequent things that the human mind does is lie to itself! However, there may be a lot of people who would acknowledge that.

Verse 10: "I the LORD search the heart…" What did David say? No thought can be withheld from you, Lord! Stop and think about how great God is. He's made everything that there is and keeps track of all of it. Anytime He wants to know what you are thinking, He can do it.

"…I try the reins, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings" (v 10). Sometimes that judgment takes quite a while.

Psalm 37:1: "Do not fret yourself because of evildoers…"

We've been watching them on television. One of them is a nice, tall, handsome man, very nice looking man, said to be one of the 'straightest shooters' in government, meaning one of the most honest—James Comey.

  • How many knew that he helped the Clintons clear back in the Whitewater days to escape that?
  • How many knew that he got them out of every detail problem that they were confronted with?
  • How many knew that he and Secretary Lynch worked together at the same law firm that prepared the income tax returns for Hillary?

We thought we got the straight story; we thought we heard that the conviction was coming down: she did this, she did this, she did this. Everyone was saying 'Finally! Finally! Finally!' What happened? Comey said, 'I couldn't find any criminal intent! Amazing!

How bad is it there? We are living in one of the most deceitful generations in the history of mankind! Just when you think things are going to get straightened out, they get all messed up! Yes, indeed! We just read that God searches the heart. He looks down and sees what men and women are doing.

Isaiah 1:2: "Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the LORD has spoken, 'I have reared and brought up children, but they have rebelled against Me.'" He's talking about the whole society! Not just the leaders, but everybody from age three up. He says, 'You're worse than animals!'

Verse 3: "'The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib; but Israel does not know Me; My people do not understand.' Ah, sinful nation, a people burdened with iniquity…" (vs 3-4). Does that describe us? Yes! With all the shootings going on, yes!

The only one who is going to ban guns and end that is Christ! No one else is going to do it! Did you know that 85% of the murders that happen in Chicago are done by illegal guns made and produced in the Philippines, shipped to Mexico and taken to Chicago. So, if you ban all the guns, guess what? You're still going to have all the murders, because the murders don't come from the guns that people buy.

"…a seed of evildoers, children who deal corruptly!…." (v 4). Isn't that something? Have you ever heard of things like the Clinton Foundation? Say no more because I would not be able to stop!

"…They have forsaken the LORD; they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger; they have gone away backward. Why should you be stricken any more?….: (vs 4-5).

People ask how bad can it get? Hey, folks, it looks like it's just starting!

"…You will revolt more and more; the whole head is sick…" (v 5). Sound like Washington, D.C.? Sacramento, California? There are some people trying to do good. There are some people trying to bring out the truth.

I thought Trey Gowdy was masterful in bringing out the truth from a man who was burying it! And for good reason, because Gowdy knew the background of what it was. Where will it go? Don't know! There are a few people trying to stop it, but the question is: What is their fate? Nobody knows! "…the whole head is sick…"

"…and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the top of the head there is no soundness in it…" (vs 5-6). Everything is gone wrong!
"…only wounds and bruises and putrefying sores…" (v 6).

  • Do you see our cities becoming dumps? Graveyards?
  • Have you watched any of the programs on drugs?
  • What it's doing to people's lives?
  • Young and old?
  • Rich and poor?
    • Have you seen what entertainment has been doing to people? Sad news!

This is what we're going to see as we go along.

"…they have not been closed, nor bound up, nor soothed with ointment. Your country is a desolation… [that's coming] …your cities are burned with fire.… [that's coming] …Strangers devour your land right in your very presence… [that's is happening] …and it is wasted, as overthrown by strangers" (vs 6-7).

I wonder what's going to happen? Just suppose 'the Donald' gets elected, how is he going to take care of what God says is happening here? How many police can you have? I kind of heard an interesting report on the Dallas police force that it's so stressful that they're not getting new recruits. It's so dangerous that they don't want to sign up for being policemen. The ones that are in there are so fearful of their lives they're retiring early. So, there are fewer and fewer policemen, when they see more and more. We need that because the people are

  • not taught the Word of God
  • not taught to manage their own lives
  • not taught to be honest
  • not taught to fear God

Even from the pulpit, and God holds those who are the church leaders responsible #1 and the politicians #2.

There is a wee little bit of hope, v 9: "Except the LORD of hosts had left us a very small remnant…" Those are the Churches of God and the decent people. There are probably a lot of people who are trying to obey God at home and teach their children at home that we don't know anything about. So, there's "…a very small remnant…"

Remember what God told Elijah when he said that he was all alone? No! I've got 7,000—a very small remnant!

"…we would have been as Sodom; we would have become like Gomorrah. Hear the Word of the LORD, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the Law of our God, people of Gomorrah" (vs 9-10).

So, if they don't return to God, all bets are off. These hearings and the end result of them was rigged from the start! We don't know what's going to happen. I think my wife is right, Hillary is going to make it! If she does, we're going to enter into worse times if she wins the election.

So, God lays it at the feet of everyone! This is the country we live in; we are the descendants of the children of Israel. Also, God tells us that we're to 'cry aloud and spare not.' People don't like to hear bad news, but who made the news bad? Is reporting bad news wrong? To report it, does that make that we did it? Of course not!

We're just saying what God knew would happen, because He's a heart-knowing God! He knows what's going on! Their day is yet to come, but it will come! If God did to His Church what He did to His Church—and we've all lived through that:

  • we had the Word of God
  • we understood many of the prophecies
  • but we became like Isa. 1
  • yes, we did

People didn't like that and if you bring that up 'you're rebellious.' You bring that up you 'just talk on the negative things.' Well, unless it's exposed how do you stop it? Unless what we do today is different from what they were doing then, what do you suppose is going to happen? Of the seven churches, the Laodicean is affected by the society that it lives in.

Hosea 4:1: "Hear the Word of the LORD, children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land…" It's not because of 'global warming' or 'global cooling.' Here is the problem:

"…'There is no truth…'" (v 1). You may get a little, some, but truth does not prevail. Truth is argued as 'disruptive.' Truth is rejected as not being 'realistic.' That's why Christ has to return!

"…nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land" (v 1). There it is! That's what we have!

  • educational system without God
  • communities without God
  • governments without God

from top to bottom! Like it was from the top of the head to the sole of the foot! Here's the result of it:

Verse 2: "By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and the committing of adultery they break out; and blood touches blood." Is that not true? Is that happening right today? Yes, indeed, if you really want to face the news!

If you don't believe me, you watch the Sunday edition of NatGeo—not NatGeo Wild—on their secret expose` of drugs in America. Watch it! It will blow your mind! We need to understand what's going on so that we do not get disillusioned that it's of no avail to follow God because there aren't very many people.

God told Jeremiah that if he found one man (Jer. 5:1) He'd pardon it all!

Verse 3: "Therefore, shall the land mourn…" We have drought and flood. It has rained so much that a third of the corn is stunted in Texas, and another third is going to be stunted.

I watched the Weather Channel yesterday afternoon… I'm tired of the killing, the lying, the shootings, just repeating the news over and over again. I didn't get any relief from the news, there are terrible storms, thunder storms, tornadoes, floods… Then they shoot out to California and the fires. Then you get a report from Florida that a little kids are being eaten by alligators and pythons. The Zika mosquito virus is coming in. Sound a little bit like Deut. 28?

So, here it's flooding in Texas again; it's flooding in Tennessee and Kentucky. What's going to happen when it really affects our food supply? How big is your garden in your backyard, if you have a backyard? If you know how plant seed and harvest crop? I don't! I used to as a kid. But just go to the store and get whatever you want. In a sense that is also a deceitful thing because you don't understand where food comes from. Someone asked a little girl: Where does milk come from?

"…and everyone who dwells in it shall languish…" (v 3). You don't think that's true? Look at all the ads for pharmaceuticals! Take this and you'll be happy, unless you die!

"…with the beasts of the field and with the birds of the heavens. Yes, the fish of the sea shall also be taken away. Yet, let no man strive, nor reprove another, for your people are as those who strive with the priest. And you shall stumble in the day, and the prophet also shall stumble with you in the night, and I will destroy your mother" (vs 3-5).

Here's what's happening. So, if there's any one platform that would never be brought out politically… Now, some few religiously…

In channel surfing I saw Charles Stanley—he's a pretty good preacher—who gave a very good sermon on slipping away, slipping away, slipping away. He did talk about repentance and turning. I don't know how many people it would reach. I'm sure that those who agreed with him will probably go home and repent of the things that they've been doing, but it needs to be shouted from the housetops!

Verse 6: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge…" The cures for the nation is the Ten Commandments! You're a nut! That's true, that's what the cure would be. Notice that there is a reciprocal action:

"…Because you have rejected knowledge… [the knowledge of God] …I will also reject you from being as a priest to Me…. [we were to bring the Word of God to the world] …Since you have forgotten the Law of your God, I will also forget your children" (v 6).

  • Has that happened?
  • Is that not a realistic thing everywhere?
  • Yes, indeed!

I saw an advertisement; here's a great work that people are doing. We're getting men and women to mentor those who live in the poor communities, as if that's such a wonderful thing. Well, it will help a little bit, but if you have a great gaping wound in your side, and you've got a two-inch bandaid, what good is that going to do?

Do you know what they need to do? You've got two months and all of you unmarried mothers 'you find a husband' and all you irresponsible men who fathered them, 'you go marry them and stay with them, stick with them and teach your children' and maybe we can solve the problem of shooting people in Chicago!

Then when you're done with that you start taking your drugs; stop your adultery and fornication. Then maybe God's blessing will come; then maybe God would say, 'Hey, they're serious.' But until then:

  • you can spend money
  • you can have programs
  • you can have 'bleeding hearts' crying over the matter all you want
  • you can have politicians denouncing it
  • you can have religious leaders saying that's wrong and you ought not do it

But until there is some kind of action to really make that happen, it will never work! "…I will also forget your children."

Verse 7: "As they were increased, so they sinned against Me. I will change their glory into shame." Has that happened in the last seven years. Are people proud of America? or Are they ashamed of America?

Verse 8: "They eat up the sin of My people, and they set their heart on their iniquity." What are we going to do?

When I referenced about that prescription drug thing, it was insane, thousands of people involved. They just had to get that next pill. They would find them dead at home, dead in their cars. Amazing thing! All because they were not told, as children, from the pulpit that 'you keep the Sabbath and you love God and keep His commandments.' No, they won't do that!

Verse 9: "And it has become, like people, like priest; and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their doings." How do you think all these things are happening?

It's hard for people to wrap their minds around the facts and they say, 'Why doesn't God do something about it?' He's left it to us to do something about it as people!

  • Did He not gives His Word? Yes!
  • Do they not reject it in the pulpit? Yes!
  • 'What good is there in it?'

God is doing something about it! The people expect God to come down here and straighten out the problems, which is going to happen when Christ returns! But it isn't going to happen now.

  • Why does God allow it? Because you live in sin!
  • Why does God cause it to happen? Because you won't repent!

Those are automatic laws that are being broken, and these things are coming upon you because that's the way it will turn out! That's the answer to the shooting. That's the answer to the sickness!

Verse 10: "For they shall eat and not have enough. They shall commit whoredom and not increase… [because of abortion] …because they have stopped taking heed to the LORD. Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart" (vs 10-11).

Have you ever sat down and talked to a homeless man who has been on drugs? That's exactly what happens! They're wasted; they're minds are gone! They're thought process is not working, men and women. Yes, if they apply themselves they can recover to a certain degree.

They want help, v 12: "My people seek advice from their wooden idols, and their rod declares to them, for the spirit of whoredoms has caused them to go astray, and they have gone awhoring away from under their God. They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms because its shade is good. So, your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your brides shall commit adultery" (vs 12-13). This is a description of all of the entertainment.

Verse 14: "Will I not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, or your wives when they commit adultery? Even the men themselves go aside with whores, and they sacrifice with temple prostitutes. The people who do not understand shall fall." There we have it!

I don't know if it was Micah or Amos who was a shepherd, but he said, 'Look, I wasn't a prophet, I didn't ask for this.'

Micah 6:1: "Hear now what the LORD says, 'Arise, contend with the mountains and let the hills hear your voice. O mountains, hear the LORD'S controversy; and you, strong foundations of the earth, for the LORD has a controversy with His people, and He will plead His case with Israel. O My people, what have I done to you?…." (vs 1-3).

What did God do? He's given us the greatest land in the world! He's given us the greatest blessings of everything that there is!

"…And in what way have I made you weary?…. [Oh, those nasty Ten Commandments!] …Testify against Me! For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt…" (vs 3-4).

Verse 6: "With what shall I come before the LORD, to bow myself before God the Most High? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my life? He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?" (vs 6-8). That's what God wants!

This whole thing with the way that the world is going is amazing! Short book; quite a message!

Micah 3:1: "And I said, 'Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob and magistrates of the house of Israel. Is it not for you to know justice? You who hate the good and love the evil; who tear the skin off My people and strip the flesh from their bones; who also eat the flesh of My people, and tear their skin off them—and break their bones and chop them into pieces, like meat for the pot, and like flesh for the caldron.' Then they shall cry to the LORD, but He will not answer them" (vs 1-4). How close are we to that?

"…He will even hide His face from them at that time, as they have done evil in their doings. Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who mislead the people, who bite with their teeth and cry, 'Peace!'—and even prepare war against those who do not put something in their mouths: 'Therefore, night shall be to you without a vision; and darkness and not divination. And the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be darkness over them. And the seers shall be ashamed…'" (vs 4-7).

Verse 8: "But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Hear this, I pray you, you heads of the house of Jacob, and magistrates of the house of Israel, who hate judgment and pervert all equity" (vs 8-9). Now we have put right into our living room through television.

Verse 10: "They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. Her heads judge for a bribe, and her priests teach for pay, and her prophets divine for silver, yet, they will lean on the LORD and say, 'Is not the LORD among us? No evil can come on us!'" (vs 10-11). That's exactly what has happened here.

Let's see what God say we're to do. Here's what needs to be done. How many will do it? We don't know! I'm sure some people will listen/read this and say, 'All he's doing is shouting, yelling and screaming. Why doesn't he preach nice things to us.' Why don't you love God and nice things will come!

Amos 5:1: "Hear this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel. The virgin of Israel has fallen; she shall rise no more; she lies forsaken on her land. There is none to raise her up" (vs 1-2). How soon will we reach that point?

Sidebar: People in the UK are in worse shape than we are. They don't even know what's going on, and they're so prideful and hardhearted that they will not even admit their sins! It's an awful thing. I get reports from the UK. If I call the 'Brits' I get an e-mail back, 'They're not all Brits.' Terrible! Can't move them! 'We're fine! We're cool! Cherrio, fella!'

Verse 4: "For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel, 'Seek Me… [That's what God wants. Seek a solution without God?] …and you shall live. But do not seek Bethel… [don't go back to that old Protestant and Catholic stuff anymore] …nor enter into Gilgal, and do not pass to Beersheba; for Gilgal shall surely go into exile, and Bethel shall come to nothing. Seek the LORD and you shall live… [quite clear] …lest He break out like a fire on the house of Joseph…'" (vs 4-6)—which is what we are, and especially to the United Kingdom.

"'…and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel—you who turn judgment to wormwood and leave off righteousness in the earth!' Seek Him Who created the Pleiades and Orion, and Who turned the deep darkness into the morning, and Him Who darkened the day into night. Seek Him Who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth—the LORD is His name" (vs 6-8). That's what we need to do, seek God with all our heart!

Verse 13: "Therefore, the prudent… [there comes a point when you have to be still] …shall keep silent in that time; for it is an evil time.  Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as you have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate…." (vs 13-15). How do you do that?

  • You get these corrupt politicians and have proper judgment on them and you put them away!
  • The religious leaders repent of all of their paganism that they've been teaching; teach the Truth and the commandments of God!

That's what they need to do. But they hate the good and love the evil.

"…It may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph" (v 15).

I tell you this, if you read some of these prophets, it is amazing. You look out and see what's happening, and if it doesn't really get to you, all the difficulties and problems. We live in a time that we've come from relative good to increasingly more evil. Will it come to like what the Middle East is going through now? Is that's what's going to have to happen? Don't know!

But as you see these things, see them go on, I don't know… It's like when we left Worldwide, people were mad at me, because I said, 'God's judgment is coming!' They didn't like it! They demonized me and all who were with me! But it came—didn't it? Likewise here!

  • We are watching it!
  • We are seeing it!

I don't know if there's going to be any pause to delay it for a while. I have no idea!
