How many have been following on what's going on in Europe with the banking crisis? I'm having Ron Carey get the information because I mentioned about how the Fed could loan almost an unlimited amount of money to any bank in the world. How's that possible?

  • It's not a government agency
  • It is an international bank

—founded by the same people who run the International Monetary Fund, who run the big banks in Europe, who control all the central banks in the world

Remember, when the stock market went down just in time to get Obama elected, I made the comment that was done deliberately to get him elected. And what was announced right after that? What did President Bush announce right after that happened? 'Well, we're going to form the G-20.' Remember that? How many of you know what the G-20 is? All the leading central banks in the world got together right after that and they set out an agenda how they are going to have all the central banks on the same regulation, the same page, the same policies and everything. And I said at that time, that's going to lead to the World Bank.

It's going to happen, but let me explain this. How many remember me talking about what is called the Depository Trust Corporation? Depository Trust Corporation was put into effect when they began doing digital trading. Before that time, you buy stocks, within five days you had them delivered to you. Now Instead of doing that, so you can buy and sell and buy and sell, and have all these digital things that you can do online, all the original stocks and bonds go to the Depository Trust Corporation.

Guess who owns that? The Federal Reserve! Guess what its net worth is? $26-trillion! Hold on! They also own trillions of dollars of deposits from other banks. They hold them and remember any bank that has an asset can loan on margin. Meaning that they can take and loan money on those assets, because they hold them. Just like you put money in your bank account and you think it's yours. It is digitally, but it belongs to the bank and that is counted as an asset so they can loan other people money on a marginal lending rate.

They found through history that when people would put gold for safekeeping and they would issue gold certificates, that a constant 12% was never claimed. So what they did, they said, 'Okay, then we can take the 88% and we can loan it in paper to you and to you and to you, and take it out 10 times.' And every time they get a deposit back in the bank that increases their assets. It's the same way with the Federal Reserve. It's an international bank, and counting everything that they own, they have approximately $50-trillion in assets on which to make loans. They just lent to Europe $13-trillion. And all those notes come back and become assets to the Federal Reserve.

If you have $50-trillion in assets, and you loan 10 to 1, how much money can you loan out? Because what you're doing, you're creating money out of nothing. $4.5-quadrillion! So, you get all these reports and all the reports say, 'Well, Europe is ready to collapse.' Not yet! The only way that they can bring in a one-world currency is to get everything so overloaded with debt that all the financial systems of the world collapse at once. Then they say, 'Oh, you're suffering. What a shame. We have a solution.' Satan always has a benefit—doesn't he?

Remember, Satan gives benefits for those who sin. That's called 'the pleasure of sin for a season.' Then comes the hammer. What do you suppose the final hammer in all of this is going to be? The mark of the beast!

Now there are still some people who believe that the mark of the beast is Sunday-keeping. Are you ever going to get the Muslims to keep Sunday? You read it all nations—the large and the small, the great and the infamous—all people!

Oh, by the way, I just read a report that all equivalents of social security numbers are also registered in Switzerland at the IMF (International Monetary Fund). Whooooo! Now, it's going to take a while for everything to get to the point that they want to get to.

****

Today we're going to talk about something completely different. Transhumanism—that which is beyond human, post human, artificial human, called cyborgs or chimeras. It's using technology, gene transplant—to create a better, smarter, more loving, more kind, human race.

They even have a church: Beliefs of the Transhumanist Church. I'll read some of those. There's a First Church of Transhumanism. If you're online, plug in transhumanism and see what you come up with. There are the leading universities and government agencies in America and in every country of the world working full time on this.

You go back and you look at the old, old, old movies, and you will see that it's just exactly as Solomon said: 'That which has been is that which will be.' What's one of the first black and white movies that they had? Frankenstein!

And that was based on an actual thing that took place in Germany in the 1850s, where there was a scientist dealing with a cadaver and electricity. They didn't know it at the time, but you can take a nerve, hook electricity to it and you can make it and the muscles move. So, he put it on this cadaver and it started kicking. They thought he was going to bring it back to life.

Let me read you some of the things that they say that they want to do, and it exposes something that is very important to understand, and that is man's greatest sin. You know what man's greatest sin is and that's what Satan the devil inspires? 'You can improve upon God! You can be God like me!' says the god of the world. And before we get into some of their beliefs and things, let me just state there are two paths of transhumanism:

  • From Satan the devil

Where he wants to take and input into the human genome, for example, they would like to create soldiers that have:

    • the vision of an eagle
    • the sense of smell of a bear
    • the killer instinct of a wolf
    • the genius of the highest IQ known
    • to give them extra strength to have battle long and hard and never fatigue.

How many remember seeing the advertisement of this movie where this thin man was enlisted. What they did before they were going to bring him into basic training, they put him into this machine. Closed it over and had his head sticking out. Turned the machine on and when they opened it up, here he comes out with muscles and strength and power and mental ability. Are we being programmed for transhumanism? How about Superman? Batman? Wonder Woman? Started out years ago on the radio, Jack Armstrong, the All-American Boy. All of those of us who are older and have gray hair we listened to that. And then there was The Shadow—'what lurks in the hearts and minds of human beings, the Shadow knows.'

I remember in the fourth grade, take the bus home, get home from school, run into the house, turn on the radio, and get all of those serial programs one after the other. Today we have Star Wars, Avatars and all of that sort of thing. Have we been programmed to it? God made us so that we are to improve physically and mentally.

  • God is the other transhuman program.

The one we've talking about has been Satan's transhuman program to destroy mankind. How are they going to ensure that they do not combine the genes in such a way that they magnify the law of sin and death and create really horrible things? They have no way of knowing.

They now have an in vitro fertilization of a baby that has been born that they took genes from two women and put it into that egg so that 'cyborg'—whatever it is—has two mothers. It was four and half months in one and four and a half months in the other. Nonsense! But that's what they want to do.

Beliefs of the Transhumanist Church (www.croftpress.com)

Men are still 'religious.' They've got to have a church.

We have a soul and it is informational in nature.

They want to improve on human life. That's their goal. Here's one of their statements here:

The aim of life is to grow and improve ourselves and our 'Community'.

Now community is in quotes because all life in the world is community. This is saying they want to take from this animal or this species or whatever, splice the genes in, and 'let's see what we get.' Now here's the main one I want to focus on:

We are our own saviors. We cannot rely on supernatural or external forces to guide us on our journey.

Sound a little bit like Jesus Seminar? Remember they said, 'We're going to give Jesus a demotion.' Remember where they said, 'There's no God out there external to us.' Same spirit! One is denying Christ. The other is denying Christ, but embracing religion.

Responsibility is on our shoulders to create the world we wish to live in.

How have we been successful the last 6,000 years?

Ethics, morality, and other philosophical questions must have answers that we provide for ourselves through rational exploration....

Rather than seeking the Word of God. Has man ever found that? No!

...No 'higher' power or supernatural entity need be turned to for these answers.

'Every way of a man is right in his own eyes and the ends thereof are the ways of death.'
Everyone must take part in this process...

That's why there's going to be a martyrdom of Christians at the end-time, because by all means, in order to bring about the world that they want with cyborgs and chimeras and robots.

  • Where is love?
  • Where is hope?
  • Where is understanding?
  • Where is kindness?
  • How do you get those?
  • By genes?
  • Has any ethical standard of men been a sufficient replacement for the laws of God? No! They can't do it.

It is our future and we all must lend a hand in its realization. To that end we believe in the free flow of information and ideas, and a direct participatory democracy in which all have an equal voice. By coming together as one, in an informed and rational manner, we can come up with the solutions to the problems that face us.

Didn't that get us into the problems we face? What does it say in Gen. 11? Why did God confuse the languages? 'Because this they now begin to do and now nothing will be restrained from them which they imagine to do!' This is big time! This is the end result of getting rid of God—lawless science. And lawless science started with what? Gene splicing. 'Oh, we're going to improve it.'

Now they're finding the genetically modified foods don't nourish the body. And in those in which they put insecticides, it goes into our digestive track and causes great havoc and lack of digestion.

We've got cloned sheep, cloned calves. Wonder when they're going to present a cloned human being, or one that is presented as the first genetically-engineered human being. Don't you think there would be parents who would do that? Pay them enough money. 'We'll make sure that he's an important and brilliant man or woman.'

What's wrong with genetic engineering? Read the first chapter of Genesis; everything is after its kind! When men cross a horse and a donkey, they get a mule, which is sterile. When they cross cows and buffalos they get a beefalo—or whatever you want to call it—and in the next generation it either goes back to buffalos or it goes to cows. They are breaking kind after kind! That is lawlessness!

We're told that lawlessness is going to multiply, everywhere—not just in religion, not just in behavior.—in science, in technology, everything that man has. You will see on #3 (this series) [transcriber's correction] that I show you a picture where they now have a printing machine that uses nano technology and nano material and through a printer they printed a full-working bike.

If you think these things are not going on and you don't understand what's wrong with it, then why don't you do some research. Would it be right to splice in wolf genes to make instinct killers for soldiers? Would it be right to implant kangaroo-leg genes into a future basketball player? They'd have to raise the slam-dunk to 30 feet.

We are made after the image and likeness of God, so that we can become as God through God's transhumanism plan of being born into the Kingdom of God through the power of the resurrection. Satan wants to destroy the human gene pool by making it after his kind and after the animal kind.

Reason, rational thought, and the scientific method are our tools in reaching our goals. We reject divine inspiration and other metaphysical approaches to arriving at truth.

You have a Bible? You have the most up-to-date, long-lasting book in the world! It answers absolutely every one of these questions. The prophecies tell us what things are going to happen. There's one little phrase in Matt. 24: 'As it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man. They were marrying and giving in marriage and eating and drinking until the day that Noah entered the ark.'

Is marrying and giving in marriage a sin? Is eating and drinking a sin? No! But He wants us to get a clue from as it was,so those of us living in the end time can look and see what we're doing now and we can understand the summary in Gen. 6.

Let's go back to Genesis 6. Let's just review it. I remember Harry asking a question: He said that there must be a whole lot more in the book of Genesis than we've understood. What is it that we haven't understood? We haven't made the comparison between what we're doing today and what it was like back then.

Genesis 6:5: "And the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Do we not have that today? Yes, we do! What was the evil? Every evil under the sun! Matt. 24 says that 'lawlessness shall be multiplied and the love of many shall grow cold.' What is lawlessness? Lawlessness is going against any Law of God, be it

  • a spiritual law
  • a physical law
  • a law of inheritance
  • a law of His creation
  • a law of the atmosphere around us
  • a law of the earth beneath us.

shall be multiplied.

It also tells us, as I covered before, 'many shall go to and fro and knowledge shall increase.' Knowledge is coming exponentially so fast that the doubling of knowledge is going to be down like to three months. The next one I'm going to give is the Singularity University. This is big-time stuff, brethren.

Part of what they want to do is have people have their minds improved by computers. You go to work and you work all day, work on a computer, you have all these things in your mind, you go home, flop in a special chair, plug yourself into a computer and sit there and go, hmmmmmmm—and you download everything you did that day. 'Was only evil continually!'

Take this principle that is true: when God says something, it's not to the minimum, it's always to the maximum. Always!

Notice what God felt about this, v 6: "And the LORD repented that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart." Now that's something—isn't it? Yes, it is! It would be like parents saying, 'Oh, I wished I'd never had any children and brought them into the world because they're so evil.' Go back through the rest of the Bible and you know that when there's one man who's righteous, God will consider it. But let's see what happened. There was only one man—right?

Verse 7: "And the LORD said, 'I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, and the crawling thing, and the fowl of the air; for I repent that I have made them.'" Why? Why destroy all life? Now that's pretty serious—isn't it? This is the part that is not spoken of in Matt. 24, 'As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man.' We have to come back here and see what they were doing and understand that it affected all human life, all animal life, all reptile life, and all bird life. Why did God have to destroy that?

Verse 8: "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man and perfect in his generations..." And generations could be genealogy. That's another clue. Does this tell us that the genealogies of everyone else had been messed up with? Look how far we have come in 150 years with the knowledge that we have: From horse and buggy to going to the moon. From riding horses and jackasses and camels to going in cars and airplanes and motorcycles and bicycles and all of this. And our lives are short. Think of what it was with those long lives back there. Think of all of the evil in your mind, if we can possibly imagine it, of someone being 700-years-old, and they have all of this memory and all of this evil, and all of these things. Do you think it would be beyond imagining or speculating, truthful speculation, that they were doing the same thing then as we are doing today? 'As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.'

Someone got all upset with me when I said, Noah must have had power tools to build the ark. You want to try building one with an ax? If we have discovered electricity, what do you think they discovered living as long as they did? Have you ever watched a program on gene splicing? Once you know the key, it's very simple. You just get the genome, you count down to where you want, you pluck it out, you splice in another one. They did that with tomatoes and they put in a flounder gene, which keeps it from freezing. For potatoes they put in a moth gene to keep it from spoiling. Read up on some of the genetically modified foods.

"…Noah was a righteous man and perfect in his generations. for Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Now the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence" (vs 9-11). Do we have that today? Go home, watch your news. Go home and get online.

Verse 12: "And God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt—for all flesh... [it means all. All flesh, not just human, but animal, reptile, and bird had been corrupted] …had corrupted its way upon the earth…. [All flesh!] ...And God said to Noah, 'The end of all flesh has come before Me... [How do we understand all flesh? What did He say He would do? He would destroy man and beast and the crawling things and the birds! That's all flesh. They have flesh—don't they? Every one of them! Yes!] ...for the earth is filled with violence through them. And, behold, I will destroy them with the earth" (vs 12-13).

How bad must it have been that God would do such a thing? We're reading, 'as it was in the days of Noah,' today.

  • Did they reject God? Yes, they did!
  • Did they know better? Yes, they did!
  • Did they use reason, rational thought, scientific experimentation? Yes, they did!

The summary that we have here in Gen. 6 could not be fully understood as it applies to our days until we reach this point.

We must transcend beyond our current biological limits to ensure the continual growth and existence of our soul.

They believe in souls. They believe in spirits. But not of God. Go online and look up a special project at the Arizona State University (ASU), and they have a project there that they are directing students to search out the spirits. Guess who is going to answer? Satan the devil!

While our beliefs show us that there is no limit to the progress the individual can achieve, we do find that there are practical limits. The human body, while wondrous in its current form and function, is not designed to carry our growing souls forever.

Really! What an astute observation.

Age, disease, death, and the limited capacities of our body put an absolute limit on how much an individual can achieve.

But we believe that these limitations can, and will, be overcome. To continue our growth and self-improvement, we must transcend beyond our current biological limitations... [we must become immortal] ...Age, disease, and even death itself should be eliminated.

Who are they pretending to be? God! Now you know

  • why the elite are so smug
  • why they're so arrogant
  • why they look down on people like us who believe in God, believe in the Word of God.

The Word of God is more valuable and more modern than anything they can possibly come up with, because this is the Word of God to humanity.

Universal Immortalism is one of the ultimate goals of existence.

They want to become immortal. There are others that I have here:

Beliefs of the Society of Universal Immortalism (www.universalimmortalism.org).

Let's look at some things. Can man save himself? We'll find the answer. All the answers of all the experiences of men are contained in the Word of God. Some people may not like to hear that, because after all, this is an 'old stuffy' book 2,000- years-old, so how can it be up-to-date? Because God has hidden the truth of that if we properly divide the Bible and put it together the way that He wants it.

(go to the next track)

Let's come to Ephesians 2, because we're going to find fundamental things that are true. Who is the 'god of this world'? Satan the devil! Has he deceived the whole world? Yes! In every facet, not just in religion, but in government, in economics, in science, and his ultimate goal is to try and destroy all human beings.

Ephesians 2:1: "Now you were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you walked in times past according to the course of this world... [that's why we're not to be of this world] ...according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working within the children of disobedience" (vs 1-2).

Where do you think the inspiration for these things come? As I've mentioned before, watch History Channel, watch when they have The Third Reich and the Occult. That'll open your eyes. All of this is coming from Satan, every bit of it.

Verse 3: "Among whom also we all once had our conduct in the lusts of our flesh, doing the things willed by the flesh and by the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as the rest of the world."

Do we have people focusing on mental things? Yes, indeed! What do they desire? To become supermen their own way! And Satan is right there leading the charge. Now they realize that the body has inbuilt life and what they want to do is find the key to the 'death gene' and extend it. But they won't be able to do it. Who holds the key to death and the grave? Jesus Christ!

Remember they said, 'We don't need a God. We'll do it ourselves, our own rational thoughts and how good we are. We will save ourselves. We will live forever. We will find the key to immortality.'

Verse 8: "For by grace... [God's direct gift to you] ...you have been saved through faith... [W Telling us if you don't have faith in Jesus Christ, you have no salvation; you're going to die. Remember what Solomon wrote in Ecc? He said, 'If you live a thousand years twice told and die, it's all vanity'—right? Yes, indeed!] (this salvation): ...it is the gift of God…. [Only God can give it.] …Not of works... [Are we talking about works that they're going to do: mental works, ethical works, setting their own rules, setting their own laws? Yes, indeed!] ...Not of works... [Meaning any human endeavor cut off from God will never lead to immortality. The Bible says, 'It's given to men once to die and after this the judgment.' I wonder what their judgment will be.] ...so that no one may boast" (vs 8-9).

Can you imagine the boasting. I cannot help but think of Cassius Clay/Mohammed Ali. 'I am the greatest, I am the greatest.' And he did, he literally beat everyone up and beat them to a pulp until he reached a certain point and then he got beat. Then what happened? He retired! Then what happened? He ended up with such a terrible case of Parkinson's disease he can even hardly even walk or speak! Is he the greatest? No, he's not. God is the greatest. "…Not of works, so that no one may boast"

For us, here's the key. The only way for immortality and salvation is through Christ, v 10: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto the good works..." And those good works are the spiritual application of all of God's system in our lives—the laws, the commandments, the character building, all of those spiritual works.

  • Are all of those greater than all the scientific things that they claim they're doing today? Yes, indeed!
  • Can one of their inventions convert a soul, convert a human being?
  • Can it bring about repentance? Can it bring connection with God, when they deny God and throw Him away?
  • You think God is going to answer their prayers?

No! But He may answer their attitudes in judgment—right? Yes, indeed!

"...unto the good works that God ordained beforehand in order that we might walk in them" (v 10). God is creating in us:

  • through His Spirit
  • through His laws and commandments
  • through the love of God
  • through the love of brethren
  • through the love of neighbor
  • through grace
  • we stand in grace
  • we walk by faith
  • we believe in hope
  • we live in love

Let's see what God said to one of the most perfect men in the history of the world. And you know who that was: 'Uncle' Job. Now let's look at this concerning works. Was there anything that he did in his works that was contrary to the commandments of God? No! Even God said he was blameless. What then was his sin?

I remember the first time I read the book of Job, I thought how can God be right. I looked at my life and I thought, 'What a miserable piece of flesh I have been and look at Job and look at what he went through.' I think that in the Faithful Version it's a very good translation of it and you see all the arguments of men, of God, of righteousness, of sin, of human endeavor. But I'll tell you what Job's sin was. He thought all of that came from him and did not give God the credit! That's what his sin was.

Let's go through and see it. Let's see Job's attitude. This is really a good one, You real all of these arguments that you find in the book of Job and unless you understand what the sin was, you really can't find what Job did that was wrong.

Job 9:32, he's talking of God: "For He is not a man, as I am, that I should answer Him, that we should come together in court.... [He's going to take God to court.] ...There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand upon us both…. [No umpire to say, 'Now, Job, now God, let's work this out.'] …Let Him take His rod away from me, and let not His fear make me afraid; Then would I speak and not fear Him; but it is not so with me'" (vs 32-35). God is unfair!

There's a lot of dialogue between there. It's almost like the guide to all the philosophy books of the world.

Job 23:1: "And Job answered and said, 'Even today is my complaint bitter...'" (vs 1-2). None of us has gone through what he's gone through, covered from head to toe with boils, which wouldn't cease. The only cure he had was potsherds to cut the tops off so the puss and blood would run, and then through ashes upon it. Can you imagine what he looked like after all those days? And he said, 'Though worms, destroy this body.' Remember that? He could look down and see the maggots in his flesh. Now none of us have gone through any trials like that.

So he said: "...my complaint is bitter; my stroke is heavier than my groaning. Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come even to His seat!…. ['I'll march right up before God!'] …I would lay my cause before Him, and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words which He would answer me, and understand what He would say to me. Will He contend against me with His great power? No, surely He would give heed to me'" (vs 2-6). Can man tell God what to do? No way!

Job 27:1: "And Job continued his speech, and said, 'As God lives, He has denied me justice; and the Almighty has made my soul bitter. As long as my breath is in me, and the breath of God is in my nostrils, My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. Far be it from me that I should declare you to be right... [those friends out there telling him what was wrong] ...until I die I will not retract my integrity from me…. [Whew! Talk about self-righteousness.] …I hold fast my righteousness, and I will not let it go; my heart shall not shame me so long as I live. Let my enemy be like the wicked, and he who rises up against me as the unrighteous'" (vs 1-7).

This gets better all the time. Here's a challenge to God. How about this for repentance? This is exactly what these people are doing here in their denying God and saying they're going to give themselves immortality. And they want cryonics to freeze the soul. How's that going to work?

Here's the attitude he came to, Job 31:6: "Let me be weighed in an even balance so that God may know that I am blameless." Same kind of attitude that they have in this transhumanism. 'We are going to do what we want to do. We have the knowledge, we have the nano-technology, we have knowledge increasing, and whatever we imagine to do, we're going to do. And there is no God out there that is going to stop us.' Well, we just had a little sample how easy it is for God to stop them. Send a windstorm, take away your electricity. How are you doing?

Verse 35: "Oh, that I had one to hear me! Behold, my desire is that the Almighty would answer me, and the indictment that my adversary had written. Surely I would carry it on my shoulder, and bind it like a crown upon my head" (vs 35-36). Going to coronate himself as to how good he is. Reminds me a little bit of some President somewhere along the line.

Job 35:1: "And Elihu answered and said, 'Do you think this to be right, you that say, "My righteousness is more than God's"?'" (vs 1-2). Do you really think so? Be careful of what you wish for, because God answered Job after Elihu got done with him.

Job 38:1: "Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said... [d there's God, speaking right out of the whirlwind] ...'Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now gird up your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and you shall answer Me…. ['You think you're so righteous and good, Job, try this on for size.'] …Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?.… (vs 1-4). You're so important! You're so good! Same thing with these people. 'You want immortality? You're not going to get it your way. You think you have all of this technology. I'll just stop the electricity.'

Verse 4: "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare it, if you have understanding!…. ['If you're so wise, if you're so important, tell Me.'] …Who has determined its measurements, if you know? Or who has stretched the line upon it? On what are the foundations fastened to? Or who laid its cornerstone'" (vs 5-6).

That's quite a challenge—isn't it? Yes! You think you can improve human beings? You think you have a better plan of immortality and salvation than God? That's what He's saying to all of these. 'We're so smart and we're so important and we've learned so much that we are going to improve humanity. We're going to make better soldiers. We're going to make better intellects.' I wonder what the secret is going to be concerning sex? Isn't man preoccupied with sex? What do you think that's going to be? I don't dare use my imagination.

This is God's answer to all the transhumanists. You want immortality, you want to become like God? You're going to have to deal with God! Job 40:1: "And the LORD answered Job and said, 'Shall he who contends with the Almighty instruct Him?….'" (vs 1-2).

Are you going to tell God what to do? Any human being going to tell God what to do? Doesn't matter what your age is, you can be eight-years-old and hate to come to church because your folks come to church, but you better pay attention because you're going to grow up. If you go off and do things like the world does, then you're going to find yourself in God's judgment. Because it's not your folks, it's God! It's not your folks, God made you! They're the ones who have the authority over you, regardless of how smart you may think you are, because you're not! Aren't you glad that babies are not born full grown with nothing up here [in the mind]? What a dangerous place that would be!

Verse 2: "'Shall he who contends with the Almighty instruct Him?….'" Like God said: Who has stretched out the heavens? Who has weighed the hills in the balance? Who has brought out their host? He knows them by name, by number.

And you've got your puny, little nano technology machine here where you can print out a bicycle. And 'Oh, Lord, we're going to extend human life, because we're going to learn how to print out replacement kidneys, and replacement hearts, and we're going to do all of these things. Aren't we so smart?' No! The plan of God through Christ is the only way to immortality!

"'…He who reproves God, let him answer it.'.... ['Let's hear you Job, I'm listening.'] ...And Job answered the LORD and said, 'Behold, I am vile!'... [now you're getting the point] ...What shall I answer You? I will lay my hand on my mouth. Once I have spoken... [that's an understatement] ...but I will not answer; yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.'…. [Job, just shut up—would you?] …And the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 'Gird up your loins now like a man. I will demand you, and you declare unto Me. Will you even annul My judgment?'" (vs 2-8).

  • God is perfect!
  • God is righteous!
  • God is holy!
  • God is good!
  • God is just!

Any judgment He makes is correct regardless of the severity of it. Regardless of how unfair it may have seemed.

Verse 8: "Will you condemn Me so that you may be righteous?.... [How are you going to do that, Job?] ...And have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like His?" (vs 8-9). Let's hear your voice, Job. I imagine with all that he went through, he could barely speak. Here he is, covered with boils from head to toe, and scabs, and maggots, and dust, and ashes, and to have the gall to say that his righteousness is greater than God's. And that everything that he did that was good came from the innermost part of his being and didn't come from God.

Everything he did came from God and he didn't acknowledge God, and say:

  • Thank You, Father, for providing for me that I can help the poor, that I can help the widows
  • Thank You that you have blessed me with these things so I can have the people work for me
  • Thank You for the water
  • Thank You for the air
  • Thank You for the food
  • Thank You for my being
  • Thank You for my mind

Everything we have, we live and move and have our being within God. There is not one thing in this world that didn't come from God to keep us alive, to keep us well, to give us thought, to do any of these things that we ever did on our own—just not there.

So, He says this, 'Try this on for size, Job. Let's see you be like God.' Verse 10: "Deck yourself now with majesty... [Can you turn on your glory—how shall we say it—switch? 'Let's see you glorify yourself, Job.'] ...and excellency, and array yourself with glory and beauty." Here is this poor, pathetic man challenging God, you know, the way he is. And God says, 'All right, if you're so good, let's have a quick change here, Job.'

Verse 11: "Cast abroad the rage of your wrath; and behold everyone who is proud, and abase him" (v 11). God says that to every one of these transhumanists that think that they are going to improve the human race, make it better, become righteous in their own eyes without God.

Now furthermore He says: "Look on everyone who is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in darkness" (vs 12-13). 'Okay, Job, you're so good, you're so great, let's see your power.' Same thing with the transhumanists. How far is God going to let them go? We don't know! But this is going to be big time.

And this is the answer back to them: What can you really do? It's like in the final analysis of how to determine whether you've been born again or not—walk through the wall without disturbing the wall. If you can do that, you've been born again. Because it's just like the wind that goes wherever it wants to, and you don't know where it's going—same way here.

'If you can do all of this, Job, if all the transhumanists can do this with all of their machines and all of their inventions and all of their thoughts, if you can truly come to the point of immortality,' v 14: "Then I will also confess to you that your own right hand can save you."

No human being can save himself! Hardly a day goes by where we don't make some kind of mistake, foible, or sin. Did you remember everything when you left the house this morning? or Did you forget something? We're so imperfect and we are so puny and we are so, as the world would consider it, beneath even any condescending acknowledgement that we exist. But if we do things God's way, if we grow in grace and knowledge God's way, if we stay repentant as Job was.

Job finally got the point, Job 42:1: "And Job answered the LORD and said, 'I know that You can do all things... [compared to me who can do nothing] ...and that no thought can be withheld from You…. [Try that. Can you read minds? No!] …You asked, "Who is he who hides counsel without knowledge?" Therefore I have spoken that which I did not understand; things too wonderful for me; yea, which I did not know'" (vs 1-3). Same way with these transhumanists. They do not know! They're educated, ignoramus fools, who say there is no God and 'we need no Savior.' Think about that if you get in an accident and you're lying in an ambulance being raced off to the hospital. Why don't you heal yourself instantly?

Verse 4: "Hear, I beseech You, and I will speak; You said, 'I will ask of you, and you will declare to Me.' I have heard of You by hearing of the ear; but now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes" (vs 4-6).

I wonder what's going to happen when the second resurrection takes place with all of these arrogant elite and these great minds—

  • who think that they can improve the creation of God
  • who think that they can tell God what to do
  • who think that they can save themselves
  • who think that they are superior to the rest of all of us human 'slobs' on earth that are banefully beneath any consideration that they may have

So remember this: That's their agenda. God has His!

  • God has called you
  • God loves you
  • God has provided a way
  • God has a great and fantastic future for us

Philippians 3, and we're going to use a word that is a very favorite of the transhumanists—transcend/transform. Here is the ultimate solution that God has for us and this is why we need to be faithful to the end.

Philippians 3:20: "But for us, the commonwealth of God exists in the heavens, from where also we are waiting for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ…. [Because man cannot save himself!] (notice what He's going to do): …Who will transform our vile bodies, that they may be conformed to His glorious body... [Not putting animal genes in us, transforming us to become like He is! That's greater than the greatest thoughts of these so-called geniuses with all of their technologies can ever contemplate or think of.] ...according to the inner working of His own power, whereby He is able to subdue all things to Himself" (vs 20-21).

Well, I'll have some more sermons on transhumanism. It's going to be astounding.
