1-John 5:17 tells us the difference between those who are converted though living in the world and those who are living in the world and they’re not converted.
1-John 5:17: “All unrighteousness is sin...”—and sin is the transgression of the Law!
Now, let’s understand something very important. When we keep the Commandments, we are confirming:
our baptism
the Holy Spirit
the love of God
because all the Commandments of God stand sure forever, and all unrighteousness is sin!
Verse 18: “We know that anyone who is begotten by God does not practice sin...”
Now, that’s a very important thing to really understand. So, IF you are continually sinning against the Commandments of God, THEN you need to understand that you need to repent. But, IF you’re truly repentant and have the begettal of the Holy Spirit, you’re not going to be practicing sin or living in sin.
“...for the one who has been begotten by God keeps himself by the power of God... [the Holy Spirit] ...and the wicked one does not touch him” (v 18)—or that is capture him and take him away.
Now, it can happen IF people listen to Satan, the devil, and give themselves over to it, THEN they can victimize themselves by choosing Satan’s way!
Verse 19: “We know that we are of God... [that is true] ...and that the whole world lies in the power of the wicked one.”
How does that happen?
How does it happen that the whole world “...lies in the power of the wicked one”?
Revelation 12:9: “...the Devil and Satan, who is deceiving the whole world...”
How does he deceive the whole world? In every way that he can, by going against God! He deceives all nations, and let’s look at what just happened in New York City.
Deut. 28—I want you to read the whole chapter, because everything that everyone wants, with every blessing of God, He defines that you will get it IF you diligently listen to His voice!
But then He warned, IF you do not, these curses shall come upon you and overtake you! THEN it lists everything that we have been experiencing in these recent years
This is what happened after a lot of things going on prior to the election, all the things that the people have been doing with their lives, etc.
Deuteronomy 28:43: “The stranger dwelling among you shall get up above you very high, and you shall come down very low.” That’s what’s happening!
Verse 44: “He shall loan to you, and you shall not loan to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. And all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God...” (vs 44-45).
Now, remember that. That’s the whole key. Remember what Jesus said: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!
“...to keep His Commandments and His statutes, which He commanded you. And they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever” (vs 45-46). Think about this for a minute!
What is happening in America?
What is happening in the world?
How did we get that way?
How did Satan bring it about?

Verse 47: “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things, therefore, you shall serve your enemies...” (vs 47-48).
Let’s see something else. Lev. 26 is important for us to understand, as well, because it’s talking about the same thing. IF you don’t follow Him:
Leviticus 26:17 “And I will set My face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies. They that hate you shall reign over you....”
Now, that’s exactly describing Mamdani and the current Democrat party in America. They hate us! They hate God! They’re talking about all the things with Sodom and Gomorrah practices, transgenderism, and everything.

Educational systems at all levels are key targets, turning schools into indoctrination centers that promote relativism over facts and critical thinking.

Religion is attacked by portraying it as outdated or oppressive, eroding spiritual anchors and replacing them with state loyalty or nihilism.

Family structures are weakened through promotion of individualism, divorce, and alternative lifestyles that fragment social cohesion.
That’s quite a thing! That’s exactly what is happening! You see these riots, you see these people going after the ICE enforcement agencies to try and get the criminals out of America:

Moral relativism blurs right and wrong, leading to apathy and inability to unite against a society’s true enemies.
Now, you can say one of the last things that are there that may have some force against this is what’s being done by Turning Point USA. They’re not bringing people to conversion, but if they bring people to decency and common sense, that will hold back the hand of God’s punishment upon us for a while. But all of these things cumulative will come upon us!
History is rewritten to vilify national heroes and traditions, fostering self-doubt and guilt in the populace.
Have they not done that? Tearing down the statues, tearing down the history.
Following demoralization, destabilization lasts 2-5 years, targeting the economy, foreign relations, and defense to create internal chaos.
Is that what we not have today? Internal chaos! There it is! That’s why those who hate us now are beginning to rule over us! Mamdani is saying he’s going to do this one for sure:
Economic sabotage widens class divides, shrinks the middle class, and breeds resentment through inflation, shortages, or inequality.
Foreign policy is manipulated to isolate the nation, straining alliances and emboldening adversaries.
Defense readiness erodes through budget cuts, internal divisions, or anti-military propaganda.
Now, you can understand why that they are so adamant against Donald Trump and what he’s doing, because he understands these twenty principles that I am bringing out. That if you do this, you destroy the nation, and the nation ends up destroying itself, and the nation ends up being taken captive by our enemies, and that is coming!
The Crisis stage erupts in violence or upheaval, where a demoralized and destabilized society demands radical solutions.
That’s what Mamdani is doing in New York!
During the crisis, people willingly surrender freedoms for promised security, paving the way for authoritarian control.
That’s what they want: one single Democrat Party to rule the whole nation! That’s what they’re looking to do.
Normalization is the final phase, where subversive changes become the “new normal,” institutionalized and irreversible.
Opposition is silenced through censorship, marginalization, or elimination in the normalization stage.
The process relies on “useful idiots”—well-meaning Western intellectuals, elites, activists, and leaders who unwittinglyadvance societal suicide.
Once subversion succeeds, even exposure of the truth won’t reverse it, as the population rejects facts that contradict their reprogrammed worldview.

Let’s continue on in Deut. 28 because this also shows that there is a progression with the blessings that God gives IF you obey His voice! Everything that everyone wants is listed here that cannot be supplied by politics. It cannot be supplied by those who hate God. So, let’s begin right here in Deut. 28:1 and see what we need to do. Then we will see how that everything like we read in 1-John 5:

is all the way through the Bible! Here’s what everyone wants, and this sounds a little bit like what politicians are practicing.
Sidebar: Right now, there’s a case being debated in the Supreme Court, and the Trump administration has been sued that the tariffs are not legal because they are a tax. Therefore, all tariffs have to be imposed by Congress. Now, that’s an utter lie, because Congress cannot impose taxes on another country.
But we have empty-headed women on the Supreme Court who are probably going to vote that way. And if the vote substantiates that tariffs are taxes and must go through Congress first, you can look for the greatest depression to hit quickly! Now, just to show you that IF people:
do not love God
do not keep His Commandments
do not obey His Laws
it’s going to end in disaster! You look at the whole history of the whole world, that’s what’s happened to them. Here’s the promise from God:
Deuteronomy 28:1: “And it shall come to pass, IF you shall hearken diligently... [not just casually, not off-handedly] ...unto the voice of the LORD your God...”
That’s what’s important. And Jesus quoted that right there in Matt. 4.4: ‘Live by every word of God that comes out of His mouth!’ Obey His voice! It’s the same thing that Jesus told those who came to Him: ‘Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and you do not practice the things that I say?’
Now we have written here (in the Scriptures) everything God wants us to know; that’s what’s important!
Deuteronomy 28:1: “And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD your God to observe and to do all His Commandments, which I command you today...”
What is it that men like to do? Say that you don’t have to keep the Commandments of God. All the pulpits in Protestantism and Catholicism have been infiltrated by Satan the devil, just like one of these 20 things that come from the abyss of Satan himself.
“...all His Commandments, which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth” (v 1).
That’s where we were placed, right? Yes! And all these blessings. Now remember that:
God gives blessings for love and obedience
Satan gives benefits for worshiping him and following him
But he doesn’t tell you that the end result of following him is complete destruction of mind, body, and everything about you as a human being!
That is portrayed today by transsexualism. Remember this. Jesus said, you can’t make one hair white or black, and you cannot by taking thought add a cubit to your height. You cannot change the genetic genes and chromosomes by thought. And if you have it altered physically by surgery, you still haven’t changed it, and that is the worst curse that has come upon this nation!
All of the Sodomites and Gomorrahites want to pervert the children beginning in kindergarten. Here’s the opposite.
Verse 2: “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God.”
Here’s what everyone wants, but it doesn’t work out that way, because they won’t obey the voice of the Lord God!
they won’t keep the Ten Commandments
they won’t keep the Sabbath
We’ll see that again here in a little bit when we get back to Lev. 26.
Then he says, v 3: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your livestock, the increase of your cattle, and the flocks of your sheep. Blessed shall be your basket and your store. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out” (vs 3-4).
Now, everyone wants all of this, right? You show me one person anywhere in America or anywhere in the world that doesn’t want all the things that I’m reading here.
Verse 7: “The LORD shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be stricken before your face. They shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouses, and all that you set your hand to. And He shall bless you in the land, which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD shall establish you a Holy people to Himself, as He has sworn to you, IF you shall keep the Commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways” (vs 7-9). Let’s see how important it is

concerning what we need to do
2-John—Quite an interesting thing indeed. This is why it’s necessary to have all the books of the Bible in the proper order.
2-John 1: “The elder to the chosen lady and her children... [that’s the Church] ...whom I love in Truth...”
We’re going to see Truth mentioned many, many times. What is true?
God is true
His Word is true
His Commandments are true
His blessings are true
Everything that He has said He will do
Likewise, if you go against God, all the curses will come just as well. You wonder why they come? Because you don’t listen!
“...whom I love in Truth, and not I alone, but also all those who have known the Truth; for the sake of the Truth that is dwelling in us, and shall be with us forever: Grace, mercy, and peace shall be with us from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in Truth and love. I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found among your children those who are walking in the Truth...” (vs 1-4).
that is, by keeping the Commandments of God
that is, by keeping the words of Jesus Christ
that is, by believing what the apostles have written
“...exactly as we received Commandment from the Father. And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I am writing a new commandment to you, but that which we have observed from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is the love of God: that we walk according to His Commandments....” (vs 4-6).
Doesn’t that sound like Deut. 28? Yet, how many in establishment Christianity today:
say the Commandments were done away?
say that we could change the Sabbath to Sunday?
say that we could make our own religion?
NO! Commandments of God!
Verse 6: “And this is the love of God: that we walk according to His Commandments. This is the Commandment, exactly as you heard from the beginning, that you might walk in it, because many deceivers have entered into the world; those who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. This is the spirit of the deceiver and the antichrist” (vs 6-7).
Now, for all societies, I just read you the 20 steps to subvert any nation planned by Satan the devil.
Now, back to Deut. 28. So, I want you to understand and I want everyone to grasp the very fact that keeping the Commandments of God are the important thing that we need to do. When we keep the Commandments of God, we verify our love to Him.
Salvation comes by grace through faith. you can’t earn salvation, but you won’t receive it IF you’re not keeping the Commandments of God!
Deuteronomy 28:8: “The LORD shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouses, and all that you set your hand to. And He shall bless you in the land, which the LORD your God gives you.”
Of course, one of the greatest nations that it has ever been has been America. America, and today we probably have within our borders descendants of all 12 tribes of the children of Israel.

think about the hard work that Donald Trump is trying to do to keep it from going down
now He says
believe God
love God
love each other
That’s Biblical, and for a nation, that’s enough to hold back the hand of God’s punishment for a while.
Verse 9: “The LORD shall establish you a Holy people to Himself...”
Is that not fulfilled in the Church? Yes, indeed!
“...as He has sworn to you, if you shall keep the Commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways” (v 9).
Isn’t it interesting that little Epistle of 2-John:
we’re walking in the Truth
all the Commandments of God are true
every Word of God is true
for blessing or for cursing!
IF you’re doing that, v 10: “And all the people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they shall be afraid of you.”
That’s what the nation really needs. Enemies are not afraid of us. We’re being undermined:
by the Russians
by the Chinese
by all of the nations in Central and South America
with all the drugs they’re pouring in!
Just like we read, we have all of the influx of illegal immigrants because we didn’t serve God as a nation the way that we should!
What happened to the Churches of God when they turned their back on God?
Where is it today?
Well, we’re all scattered and few, and God took it down, just like He’s going to take down this nation! Now, it’s coming! It may be delayed a little bit, but it’s coming!
Verse 12: “The LORD shall open to you His good treasure, the heaven to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. And you shall loan to many nations, and you shall not borrow. And the LORD shall make you the head, and not the tail. And you shall be always above, and you shall not be beneath, IF... [conditional; let’s see how it also applies to the Church] ...you obey the Commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, to observe and to do them” (vs 12-13).
Notice, He gives a warning, and we will see this applies always to all people:
individually
collectively
nationally
worldwide
because God has made it all!
Verse 14: “And you shall not go aside from any of the words, which I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.”
The truth of the matter is this: you cannot have freedom of religion, because it will bring in other gods! Is not Mamdani a worshiper of another god? He says he’s Muslim and proud to do it, and he’s against everything that we stand for! Yes!
Verse 15: “And it shall come to pass, IF...” It’s the same thing, all the way through the Bible:
IF you don’t follow God, you’re going to get yourself in trouble
IF you don’t believe God the way that He says to do it, you’re going to find yourself cursed
Verse 15: “And it shall come to pass... [He’s going to make it happen] ...IF you will not hearken to the voice of the LORD your God to observe and to do all His Commandments and His statutes which I command you today, all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you.”
Then all of the rest of the chapter goes through all of the curses that will come. So let’s just read a few here, beginning in:
Verse 16: “Cursed shall you be in the city...” Show me one city in America that is not cursed!
“...and cursed shall you be in the field” (v 16)
we have trouble with our crops
we have devastation
Verse 17: “Cursed shall be your basket and your store. Cursed shall be the fruit of your body...” (vs 17-18).
Look at all of the curses upon the children beginning at birth!
“...and the fruit of your land, the increase of your livestock, and the flocks of your sheep. Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out” (vs 18-19).
Now, people don’t like that, but that’s the way it is! That’s the way it is in New York City. We’re going to see New York City is the #1 demonstration against a city, the biggest city in America that has forgotten God, that has left God! .
Leviticus 26 and let’s read about it a little bit more, because it tells us this. It’s phrased just a little bit differently, but it covers the same thing.
Leviticus 26:1: “You shall make no idols to yourselves; and you shall not set up for yourselves graven images, or a standing pillar. And you shall not set up any image of stone in your land in order to bow down to it, for I am the LORD your God.”
Now notice the next verse, because this becomes the key important one on which a lot of things are hinged.
Verse 2: You shall keep My Sabbaths...”—that’s plural!
What’s the first thing that establishment religion says that you don’t need to do? Keep the Sabbath and keep the Holy Days!
What do we have coming up? We just had Halloween!
What’s next? Christmas!
What’s after that? Lent and then Easter!
All pagan! Oh, they put a ‘Christian name’ on it, but it’s full of lies!
Verse 2: You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary. I am the LORD. IF you walk in My statutes and keep My Commandments and do them, THEN I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time. And you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land safely” (vs 2-5).
We don’t have that today. You can’t even get on public transportation without worrying about whether you’re going to be stabbed or not.
Verse 6: “And I will give peace in the land... [What do we have? Anything but peace!] ...and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid. And I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land; neither shall the sword go through your land. And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword” (vs 6-7).
Verse 8: “And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight. And your enemies shall fall by the sword in front of you, for I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish My covenant with you” (vs 8-9).
Then he says, v 11: “And I will set My tabernacle among you....”—which He did!
This is what it would amount to IF we would do that as a nation!
Verse 12: “And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be My people. I am the LORD your God Who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt from being their bondmen. And I have broken the bonds of your yoke, and made you go upright. But IF...” (vs 12-14).
Here it is again, IF; this is what we need to understand what is happening. That’s why all of these 20 things that I read earlier are coming upon us. That’s why Mamdani was elected, because he’s promising he’s going to do what God said he would do. He will give you free this, free that, free the other thing, lying through his teeth. And none of that has ever worked, never will!
What’s going to happen to New York City? We’re just going to have to wait and see! Look at what’s happening:

in Portland
in Los Angeles
in Seattle
All of them, diametrically opposed to everything of God. Look at all the troubles that they have. There aren’t enough policemen anywhere in the world to correct all the problems that we’re facing right now, and it’s all because of right here.
Verse 14: “But IF you will not hearken to Me and will not do all these Commandments, and IF you shall despise My statutes, or IF your soul hates My judgments...” (vs 14-15).
Isn’t that true?
Do they not hate the Sabbath?
Do they not hate the Holy Days?
Do they not hate the Commandments of God?
Do they want other gods? Yes!
They want pure satanism, and the successor to Pelosi is transgenderism!
You’re going to read what they’re going to enforce upon everyone, because when you’re ruled by Sodom and Gomorrah, everything ‘goes to hell in a handbasket.’ That’s what God says!
Verse 14: “But IF you will not hearken to Me and will not do all these Commandments, and IF you shall despise My statutes, or IF your soul hates My judgments, so that you will not do all My Commandments, so that you break My covenant; I will also do this to you...” (vs 14-16).
Now, here it is, here’s where we are, right here:
How far can we come back from this? I do not know.
How can it be changed to remove or mitigate some of these curses? I don’t know what can be done!
God says this, IF you won’t do it:
“...I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and burning fever, consuming the eyes and causing sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it” (v 16).
What do we just agree to with China? To sell 25 million metric tons of soybean for the next three years! So, we’re feeding our enemies!
Now, here’s worse. This is what we’re going to be up against next, because there needs to be:
a change
an acknowledgement of God
a return, at minimum, to common sense and law and order
That has nothing to do with salvation!
That has to do with having peace and a nation that is a nation, not one that’s torn apart by itself through all the devices of Satan the devil to take you away from God. Then God says this when that happens:
Verse 17: “And I will set My face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies. They that hate you shall reign over you....”
That’s in the beginning phase right now. So, we need to understand what we’re looking at and what we’re going to face. Then there are the curses that come along:
“...They that hate you shall reign over you...” (v 17).
Then He gives a warning; v 18: “And IF you will not yet, for all this... [in other words, experiencing all of these curses upon you] ...hearken to hearken to Me...” This shows He’s giving a space of repentance!
Will there be a space of repentance with the nation?
Will there be a space of repentance with the Christian community establishment?
Will there be a space of repentance with those who are in the Churches of God?
Verse 20: “And your strength shall be spent in vain, for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the field yield their fruits.”
Notice that he brings it out again; He gives another space of repentance here:
Will there be enough repentance?
Who knows what will happen?
But who is there to stand up and tell everyone what’s wrong with everything? God expects us to do that! God expects us—in Isa. 58—to cry aloud and spare not and show my people their sins!
Verse 21: “And IF you walk contrary to Me... [that is continue to do so] ...and will not hearken to Me, I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.”

we need to think about what needs to be done in our lives
we need to think about what we need to preach and teach
and that these things go out as a warning, whatever we can do!
Verse 22: “I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall bereave you. And I will destroy your livestock, and make you few. And your highways shall be deserted.” Amazing!
Verse 23: “And IF after these things you will not be reformed by Me, but will still walk contrary to Me, THEN I will walk contrary to you and will punish you seven times more for your sins. And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy” (vs 23-25).
Now think about that! Think about what may happen in New York. Remember there are more rats in the sewers of New York than there are people.
What IF bubonic plague breaks out? That’s not far-fetched!
What if in the cities we have a great increase in crime and killing?
What if all of the transgenders and sodomites do not change?
Let’s see what God says here in Isa. 1. We’ve read this before, same thing. Here it is right here:
Isaiah 1:3: “‘...My people do not understand.’ Ah, sinful nation, a people burdened with iniquity... [that’s what we have; There needs to be repentance and change] ...a seed of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the LORD; they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger; they have gone away backward” (vs 3-4).
So just like in Deut. 26, He pleads with them!
Why don’t you stop?
Why don’t you change?
Verse 5: “Why should you be stricken anymore? You will revolt more and more; the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the top of the head there is no soundness in it; only wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; they have not been closed, nor bound up, nor soothed with ointment. Your country is a desolation... [that’s coming] ...your cities are burned with fire....” (vs 5-7).
Didn’t that happen in Los Angeles, in that area? And they still haven’t started to rebuild! That’s all:
because of the curse
because of rejecting God
Verse 9: “Except the LORD of hosts had left us a very small remnant... [that’s the Church today, a very small remnant] ...we would have been as Sodom; we would have become like Gomorrah”—burned up! That’s what’s going to happen. Because:
all of these Sodom and Gomorrah practices going on
all of the abortions that are taking place
all of the sins that people are living in

Likewise, we need to pray for all the Churches of God. We need to all stay close to God in our personal lives in prayer and in study and understanding the Word of God.
Know that IF God blesses us, that’s fine; but don’t get all lifted up because you received some blessings!
IF things work out in spite of all the difficulties, don’t get lifted up in vanity and think that you now can go do whatever you want to do. That won’t work! So, we are right now at a real big turning point.

I know this is a difficult thing to listen to, and I know it’s hard for some people to believe but all we have to do is look down through history and see what has happened to every nation and every civilization that has followed Satan the devil that has gone into sexual perversion that has gone into human sacrifice which abortion is human sacrifice and there are 80 million just in America.
So, you think about that. God is human so that’s why we need to stay close to God keep His Commandments and walk in the Truth as John told us there in that short little Epistle of 2-John.
