Greetings, everyone! Welcome to the Feast of Trumpets on the day; the others were pre-recorded. Since I can't always give the same sermon the same way all the time, it will be a little different. There will be many Scriptures the same, and we always start in Lev. 23. Isn't that a wonderful thing that God has done!

This is only one of two places where the Sabbath and all the Holy Days are mentioned. Do you know where the other place is? Where do you suppose it is? Deut. 16 just gives three! Num. 28 & 29 lists all of them. So, the only two places in the entire Bible that the Sabbath, Passover and the Holy Days are mentioned is Lev. 23 and Num. 28 & 28.

When you read in Num. 28 & 29, these are all the official offerings that were to be given on the Sabbath, on the Holy Days, and every day: morning and evening.

What is the only day in Num. 28 that has no temple offering, other than the daily? Passover! This denies the Jews the temple Passover sacrifice and shows that it's their own tradition, not a command of God!

Numbers 28:16[transcriber's correction]: "And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of the LORD."

In these two chapters, God has placed the seeds of His entire plan, because everything that God does centers around the Passover, the Sabbath and the Holy Days. God has put parts of it in different places of the Bible.

How does God tell us that we get understanding?

Psalm 111:10: "…a good understanding have all those who do His commandments…."

  • Are the Sabbath and Holy Days His commandments?
  • How else do we understand? Rightly the dividing the Word of God!
  • How is that defined in Isa. 28? Line upon line, precept upon precept and here a little, there a little and you put it together!

All of those things coupled with God's Spirit and His Word give us understanding of what's going to happen. This a tremendous thing!

Let's read about Trumpets in Leviticus 23:24: "'Speak to the children of Israel saying, 'In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of ram's horns, a Holy convocation.'"

When you blow the ram's horn, that a warning of war, or actual participation in war. So, this is a War Feast!

Verse 25: "You shall do no servile work therein but you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD." Very short!

What's the longest command in Lev. 23? For Pentecost beginning with the Wave Sheaf Offering—13 verses!

For Trumpets we have two verses, but that doesn't mean that it's insignificant. We will see that this talks about the most important day that even the world is looking to. But when it comes they're going to deny it. Isn't that an amazing thing?

Deuteronomy 16:16: "Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the LORD your God in the place which He shall choose: in the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks, and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before the LORD empty."

Every once in a while I get a paper saying that only three times in a year are you to bring an offering to the Lord. Why does the Church take up an offering on Trumpets and Atonement? They staunchly belief that only three times.

  • What did Jesus say about commandment-keeping? A lot!
  • What did He say about commandment-keeping and faith? Luke 17!

The disciples said, 'Increase our faith, Lord.' Then Jesus gave the Parable of the Servant. If you belong to a union you won't like this part of the Bible, because you'd be the worker taking care of the sheep and cattle and you come in and the master says, 'You fix me dinner, and after you're done you can eat.' Unfair labor practices?!

But what did Jesus say after that? When you have done all that you have been commanded, you shall call yourself unprofitable servants! This is where, if we ask for an offering on Trumpets and Atonement, it's not violating any commandment at all, because when those things happen you generally can find that over a period of time something else is going to happen to their doctrinal beliefs. Always happens!

(pause for offering)

When you read the book of Daniel, every chapter ends with the coming of the Kingdom of God, every single chapter! Remember that God is always on time and these are the appointed times! These appointed times are for the activities of God.

On the weekly Sabbath, that's an appointed time, every week. What does God do? If we study the Word of God and prepare and serve the brethren properly, we will be teaching the Word of God! In teaching the Word of God, what does that accomplish? God is doing the teaching! It's His Word, so if we rightly divide it, that fulfills:

John 6:45: "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.'…." That's an amazing thing!

One man told me, 'I'll believe it if God will come down and talk to me.' I said, 'He did! He talks to everybody, right here in His Word!' Whatever you want to know of God, there it is, right there in the Bible. That's why we need to continuously study and repeat and go over everything that God has given us.

Daniel 9:26: "And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off but not for Himself. And the people of the prince…"

This is the same system as we will see. This is referring to the Romans. The Romans killed Him, the priests killed Him and the people killed Him. When you look at it prophetically,

  • the Romans stood for the governments of this world
  • the priests stood for the religions of the world
  • the people stood of the people of the world

"…who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary….

  • Did the Romans do that? Yes!

The predecessors to the Romans were Babylon!

  • Did they do it? Yes!

"…But his end shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week…." (vs 26-27).

So, there is coming a world peace plan that's going to last seven years: one week!

"…And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease…" (v 27).

Notice that this is different than v 26 in destroying the temple and the city. This means—and we will look at the New Testament Scriptures—that the temple will be rebuilt, and the Jews a busy doing that.

Are the Jews, in looking for a Messiah, looking for God to come on the earth? No, they're not! I saw an interview with Morgan Freeman where he was talking to a leading rabbi and he asked,

'Are you expecting God to come on the earth? What do you think of the coming Messiah?'

Because the Jews are saying that the Messiah hasn't come! Because they have rejected Jesus!

'Is He a man or God?' The rabbi said, 'A man!'

Here we have it, right here in Daniel!

"…And in the midst of the week…" (v 27). That's where we get three and a half years!

Note sermon series: Daniel/Revelation; we go through every verse!

"…he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate even until the consummation…. [of the age] …And the fully determined end which is decreed… [we find various parts of the decree throughout the Bible] …shall be poured out upon the desolator" (v 27). Let's see when that will be!

If a the Jews are looking for a man, they will align with the beast and the false prophet! But know this: Right now they are building in United Arab Emirates an Islamic, Christian, Jewish place of worship. The sons of Abraham!

The way I see it is this: When will all religions come together? When the pope is able to do some miracles! They will all say that this is of God, because the pope is already laying the groundwork by saying that God determined that:

All religions are the work of God. So, why don't you all come back to Rome and we'll have a rabbi, we'll have an Imam, and the pope… [the unholy trinity] …and then they will sanctify the new leader.

That's when the covenant will be made!

However, peace with the Arabs—the Islamics—will never last very long. Look at how many times there has been a brief bit of peace in the Middle East.
Daniel 11:40: "And at the time of the end, the King of the South shall push at him…. [can't resist it, got to go after him] …And the King of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries and shall overflow and sweep through. He shall also enter into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown. But these shall escape out of his hand: Edom and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon" (vs 40-41).

That may be because there's a place of safety there over in Jordan. I forget which church it was, I think it was Gerald Flurry, tried to buy some rights to Petra. He was going to determine who was going to go to Petra.

  • Who is going to determine who goes? God!
  • How are they going to go? The angels will take them!

They won't be going on 747s! The wings of an angel, not the wings of a plane!

Verse 42: "And he shall stretch out his hand also upon the countries. And the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt. And the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall alarm him. Then he will go forth with great fury to destroy and to utterly annihilate many" (vs 42-44). We will see that when we get to the book of Revelation!

Verse 45: "And he shall plant his royal tents between the seas in the glorious Holy mountain…. [we're going to see that's right into the coming temple] …Yet, he shall come to his end, and none shall help him."

Matthew 24:2: "But Jesus said to them, 'Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be left here even a stone upon a stone that shall not be thrown down.' And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him alone, saying, 'Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the completion of the age?'" (vs 2-3).

Everything points to the completion of the age! Every single chapter in the book of Daniel does!

Here is the thing that kicks off the Tribulation. But remember that it is a seven-year period, and in the midst of the week is when the trouble begins. So, when they start building the temple, you know that you don't have very long. The world is going to think that all good people in religion in all countries are going to come together and they're 'going to save the world.' It will be a miraculous time for the world. That is Satan's kingdom!

It's only going to hold together three and half years. Here's what's going to cut it in half:

Verse 15: "'Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy place.'…."

Then we have this parenthetical statement, which I've covered many, many times. This was put in there by John when he was canonizing the New Testament, because he knew the temple was destroyed in 70A.D. and he knew the abomination of desolation (2-Thess. 2—written by Paul) did not occur before it was destroyed.

Then John was given the prophecy of the two witnesses who would preach in Jerusalem, when the temple was completed. He didn't know when this would be. So, this parenthetical statement:

"…(The one who reads, let him understand.)" (v 15). If you have a red-letter King James that should not be in red letters, because Jesus did not speak these words.

Then Jesus says, v 16: "Then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains." Then He talks about false prophets and many miracles!

Let's see how this is going to be. God is going to cause this to happen, because the temple is called 'the Temple of God' is not the Temple of God, because He wasn't there! When the temple comes, will everyone give into a quasi-Jewish religion? No they won't! All religions will be accepted on the basis of what they are, because the pope has said that 'God has determined that all the different religions for the different people.' That is an ecumenical statement to bring them together. There are those who say that the Jews will enforce Noahide Laws. I don't believe that will happen.

Could this mean all these religions are 'desolate'? That's a stretch! It means that the beast is going to make the temple area desolate because of his presence, not that all religions are desolate. They may all be desolate in a sense, but that's not the meaning of that particular verse.

The beast would have run the Jews out of the temple at that time, and any other religions; yes, he will! We will see what happens. How it will be with all religions accepting each other, that will be the 'hallelujah' moment of Satan's way.

2-Thessalonians 2:3: "Do not let anyone deceive you by any means…" Let's just stop here and add a little something to this. The first letter that the Apostle Paul wrote was 1-Thess., and they were expecting Chris to return during the lifetime of the apostles. They had no idea that it was going to be 2,000 years out into the future. This understanding by Paul is very important, because what is said here has nothing to do with the destruction of the temple in 70A.D. and we will see why.

Verse 3: "Do not let anyone deceive you by any means because that day will not come unless the apostasy…"—the whole world turning from God; not an apostasy within a Church of God, but the whole world turning to Satan the devil!

"…shall come first, and the man of sin shall be revealed—the son of perdition, the one who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is an object of worship; so that he comes into the temple of God and sits down as God, proclaiming that he himself is God" (vs 3-4).

Now you know why John wrote that parenthetical statement in Matt. 24, because this did not happen in the destruction of the temple in 70A.D.

Verse 5: "Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And now you understand what is holding him back in order for him to be revealed in his own set time…. [own appointed time] …For the mystery of lawlessness is already working…" (vs 5-7).

This is when the mystery of lawlessness will reach its highest climax! Its greatest impression! That's when martyrdom against Christians really starts.

"…only there is One Who [Christ] is restraining at the present time until it arises out of the midst. And then the lawless one will be revealed… [notice when this takes place] …(whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth, and will destroy with the brightness of His coming)" (vs 7-8). So, this comes to the time when Jesus returns! Hasn't happened, yet!

Verse 9: "Even the one whose coming is according to the inner working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in those who are perishing because they did not receive the love of the Truth, so that they might be saved" (vs 9-10).

They believed the lies of Satan, that all religions will get together and save the world. This is when it all falls apart, right here.

Verse 11: "And for this cause God will send upon them a powerful deception that will cause them to believe the lie." Let's see what that lie is!

Revelation 12:7[transcriber's correction]: "And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels warred against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels warred."

This is another battle just before the end. This is not the battle when Lucifer and the angels wanted to take over God's Throne. This is right at the end. They're going to make another assault and think they can do it.

Verse 8: "But they did not prevail, neither was their place found any more in heaven."

Right now Satan can come up to the Throne of God. How do we know that's true? The book of Job!

Verse 9: "And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent who is called the Devil and Satan, who is deceiving the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him."

Let's look at it this way: Many of these events sweep along with emotion and great things happening. This is going to come real quickly during that first three and half years:

  • great things are going to happen
  • people will be peaceful
  • religions will get along
  • crime will be down
  • war will cease for a short time

This system will come up out of the sand of the sea!

Revelation 13:1: "And I stood on the sand of the sea; and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard…" (vs 1-2).

This verse shows that this is a combination of all of the great nations found in the book of Daniel, because those nations still exist:

  • Greece
  • Persia
  • Babylon

"…and his feet like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it were slain to death… [vs 2-3).

What's going to happen? Don't know, but think of this: If the beast goes into the temple and sits down as 'God,' stops all the sacrifices that the Jews have started (prophesied in Dan. 9), what do you supposed the Jews are going to do? Look at it from the Jewish point of view:

'For 2,000 years we've been deprived of our temple. We've been deprived of our sacrifices.' So, here comes this man who comes into the temple and says that he is 'God.' Well, if they got 40 men to go after the Apostle Paul, to kill him, think about what they're going to do when the beast goes in and stops everything at the temple! They're going to have an 'execution squad' going after this guy! They get nearly a fatal wound. There are two types of this:

  • the beast as a national power

Look what happened with Hitler!

  • the beast as an individual

So, he's wounded! He comes back, and what does he do? Now the Great Tribulation accelerates!

"…but his deadly wound was healed; and the whole earth was amazed and followed the beast" (v 3). Think about what this is going to do!

I don't know how that's going to work. I don't know if the pope is going to go in and lay hands on him, and he comes back. Or if it's going to be a pope, imam and a rabbi, I have no idea! But he's going to be revived look what he does.

Verse 4: "And they worshiped the dragon, who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?' And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to him; and authority was given to him to continue for forty-two months" (vs 4-5)—the last three and a half years!

Understand that 42 months and 1260 days are not exactly equal!

Verse 6: "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. And he was given power to make war against the saints, and to overcome them; and he was given authority over every tribe and language and nation" (vs 6-7). That's the time that it all comes to him for a short period of time!

Rev. 4 & 5 tells us that these things in the book of Revelation do not happen except God makes them happen. Look at the seals. In Rev. 5 John was weeping because no one is able to open the seals. Then it was said the Lion of the tribe of Judah will open the seals, and that is Christ!

Revelation 6:1: "And I looked when the Lamb opened one of the seals…" Christ is in charge of opening these seals!

It's not going to happen because men say it's going to happen or because they think it's going to happen. Several years ago Harold Camping said that Christ was going to come on May 22. Well, May 23 came and he said, 'I got a new revelation, it's Oct. 22.' Oct. 23 came and he finally admitted he was wrong. That's a doctrinal trick! Christ is not going to return until it's time!

"…and I heard one of the four living creatures say, like the sound of thunder, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a white horse; and the one who was sitting on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering, and to conquer" (vs 1-2).

We've thought about the different religions coming, and the white horse is a false Christ! One who represents the religions of the world. And we thought that maybe with the Vatican II, that was the beginning of it, because they were starting the ecumenical movement at that time. But that went on and on. I think that all of those things are background work to make the final thing happen.

So, when the horse comes out, it's going to be like lightning, and the world is going to be swept up in it. That's going to be quite a thing! Can't you just see it on television? The pope, imam and rabbi? That's going to be something!

Then it talks about many false prophets that show great signs and wonders. Those will all be demonic prophecies backing up the pope and the beast, and the world is going to think that this is fantastic; 'this must be of God!'

Verse 3: "And when He [Christ] opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, 'Come and see.' And another horse went out that was red; and power was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth, and to cause them to kill one another; and a great sword was given to him" (vs 3-4).

This has to be the King of the South coming against the King of the North. That starts the Great Tribulation, right here! Then we have the 3rd and 4th seals, and the 5th seal begins the martyrdom of the saints.

Verse 12: "And when He opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake…"

For a study, go through and look at how many earthquakes there are just in the book of Revelation. Great earthquakes!

"…and the sun became black as the hair of sackcloth, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind" (vs 12-13).

Here is God's direct intervention, and the world has been prepared for it. How have they been prepared for it? Alien invasion! Even the pope says that the aliens, and they come in these classes:

  • angels of God; they do the work of God
  • demons; they're represented by the serpent

You find that religions have the serpent as the origin of their religion! Here's what happens after this.

Verse 14: "Then the heaven departed like a scroll that is being rolled up…"

That is going to be a fantastic thing that takes place. Never before has that happened. Notice how this is going to affect the whole earth. There was already the great earthquake.

"…and every mountain and island was moved out of its place" (v 14). Look at a globe and see all the mountains. When it says every mountain that means every mountain. It's going to affect the whole world.

Verse 15: "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the powerful men, and every bondman, and every free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, 'Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb'" (vs 15-16).

Now then, Satan is still here and he's going to say, 'No, this is not the Lamb. These are the ones from outer space invading the earth.

Verse 17: "Because the great day of His wrath has come, and who has the power to stand?"

How long is a day in prophecy? One year! At this point there is one year left. And I suspect that it is a leap year with 13 months. We'll look at all the events that take place.

 (go to the next track)

Let's see what's going to happen when the heavens are rolled back as a scroll. It's going to be an astonishing thing! This is talking about the time when the temple is desolated and so forth:

Matthew 24:26: Therefore, if they say to you, 'Come and see! He is in the wilderness'; do not go forth. 'Come and see! He is in the secret chambers'; do not believe it. For as the light of day…[the sun] …which comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be" (vs 26-27). What does this tell us?

Verse 29: "But immediately after the tribulation of those days… [two years against Israel, and there's 18 months left after that time] …the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light… [tie in Rev. 6] …and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven…" (vs 29-30).

What is the sign of the Son of man? It is that which shines from the east to the west! So, when the heavens roll back, all of a sudden there's another light out there like the sun. That's the sign of the coming of the Son of man!

Does this mean that will be a replacement sun, because it says, 'the sun shall be darkened'? I don't think so! I think the darkening of the sun will be temporary. When the sign of the Son of man appears, then shortly after that the regular sun is going to appear, too. So, there will be two. The world won't know what to do with it, but as long as it's not coming to the earth, it will soon kind of being accepted. The Sea of Glass comes later.

"…and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn… [tie in Rev. 6] …and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (v 30). But He's not coming instantly!

There's going to be a period of time of approximately a year and a half from the first seeing of the sign of the Son of man.

Verse 31: "And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet; and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

  • What is that second sun?
  • Is it the glory of God?

I don't know if it's the glory of God! It may be that it looks like sun, but probably not as bright, and other there in the heavens. God is going to leave it out there until it's time for Christ to come to the earth. There are still a lot of things to happen as we will see.

When I first read Malachi 4:1—I couldn't understand how this referred to Christ: "'For behold, the day is coming, burning like a consuming oven; and all the proud, and every doer of wickedness, shall be stubble. And the day that comes shall burn them up,' says the LORD of hosts, 'and will leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise…'" (vs 1-2).

Why is it spelled Sun? Because it's referring to a sun, not Son, the Son of God! I couldn't understand what that meant, but the sign of the Son of man is like the sun that shines from east to west. That's going to be out there. You talk about a witness for a long time!

"'…and healing will be in His wings. And you shall go out and grow up like calves of the stall. And you shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I am preparing,' says the LORD of hosts" (vs 2-3).

Now let's see some other prophecies of what's going to happen on this day of Trumpets. We're going to look at several prophecies. Remember that the Word of God is true and everything is going to happen exactly as He has said.

Look at today, what does Jesus say about today? Lawless shall multiply! Look at it! It's crazy! Every word is true; not one word is going to fall or fail! Here is about Babylon the Great; let's see what's going to happen to them:

Isaiah 13:6: "Howl! For the Day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore, all hands shall be faint, and every man's heart shall melt; and they shall be afraid. Pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them. They shall be in pain like a woman who travails. They shall be amazed at one another, their faces are like blazing fire. Behold, the Day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to make the earth a desolation; and He shall destroy the sinners out of it, for the stars of the heavens and their constellations shall not give light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not reflect its light. 'And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the tyrants'" (vs 6-11). Those are some pretty powerful words!

We will see form the time of the heavens being rolled up like a scroll and the sign of the Son of man appearing there. It's going to stay there for a little over a year, a year and four months.

Isaiah 24:1: "Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty…" How many are going to be killed? A third and a third! That's a lot of people!

"…and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants" (v 1). That's what happens with earthquakes!

Verse 2: "And as it is with the people, so it shall be with the priest; as with the slave, so with the master; as with the handmaid, so it is with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor. The earth shall be completely laid waste, and utterly stripped; for the LORD has spoken this word. The earth mourns and languishes; the world withers and languishes; the proud people of the earth wither. And the earth is defiled under its people; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and have broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore, the curse has devoured the earth…" (vs 2-6). Think about that!

"…and they who dwell in it are desolate; therefore, the people of the earth are burned, and few men are left" (v 6).

Let's see how this is going to come about! Let's see who is involved. Remember what it said concerning the Beast Power; every tribe and every nation was given under his authority.

Jeremiah was told to go to the Lord and take the cup out of his hand and go and take it to where He sends him.

Jeremiah 25:15: "For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to me, 'Take the wine cup of this wrath at My hand, and cause all the nations…'" Think about this! Where do we find all nations mentioned? Matthew 24! This Gospel is going to preach to the world, all nations!

When the Churches can't do it, the two witnesses are going to do it. For three and a half years they're going to make life miserable on the earth. What a testimony that's going to be.

"'…to whom I shall send you to drink it. And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be crazed because of the sword that I will send among them.' Then I took the cup at the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations drink, to whom the LORD had sent me" (vs 15-17). Then it lists all the nations!

Verse 26: "And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the face of the earth… [you can't get any more all inclusive than that] …and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them…. [that's probably the name of the beast] …'Therefore, you shall say to them, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Drink and be drunk, and vomit, and fall, and rise no more because of the sword which I will send among you. And it shall come to pass if they refuse to take the cup at your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'You shall certainly drink. For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city, which is called by My name; and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished. For I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth,' says the LORD of hosts" (vs 26-29). So, if you think it's tough times now, just wait!

Verse 30: "'And prophesy against them all these words, and say to them, "The LORD shall roar from on high… [ripping open the heavens (Rev. 6:14[transcriber's correction]] …and utter His voice from His Holy habitation. He shall mightily roar over His dwelling place. He shall give a shout, like those who tread out grapes, against all the people of the earth. A noise shall come to the ends of the earth; for the LORD has a controversy with the nations; He will plead with all flesh…. [that's all encompassing] …He will give those who are wicked to the sword,"' says the LORD. Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be stirred up from the farthest corners of the earth. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth; they shall not be mourned, nor gathered, nor buried. They shall be as dung on the ground'" (vs 30-33).

Think about the condition of the earth when we come back with Christ after the resurrection. It's going to have to be all totally redone.

Verse 34: "Howl, you shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, you lords of the flock! For the days of your slaughter and of your scatterings are fulfilled; and you shall fall like a choice vessel." All of this, the whole world!

Check out all the places where it says all nations, all the earth, all inhabitants and see what you come up with.

  • When does this rolling back of the scroll take place? Probably on Pentecost, the next to the last Pentecost!
  • What is the length of time from Pentecost to Trumpets? Four and a half months!

A lot of things were all upset with the earthquake and the exposing of the sign of the Son of man. Then what happens? God always offers repentance! Here is the greatest response to that repentance: the 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude!

So, you have a space of time from Pentecost to Trumpets. That gives the earth and the people time to clear away the rubble. They won't get it all removed, but clear it away. Then the thing where God is going to send the spirit of war against them and fighting each other. It's going to unleashed beginning with Trumpets.

Please note this, that the only place in the Bible where there is a sequence where you start with the first trumpet to the last trumpet is in Revelation. We know that the first resurrection is going to be at the last trump. On the Day of Trumpets, that's a memorial of the blowing of trumpets all day long. That's more than seven trumpets. How many? Probably have a hundred of them blowing! Closest I can think of is with the ram's horn and all that blowing, then like the Tibetans with their long deep horns, their day of trumpets that they have, too. Won't they be surprised with this takes place.

We won't go into Rev. 7 except to say that it occurs on Pentecost, four and a half months they're sealed and nobody to baptize them, so God sends and angel to seal them. These are the last ones who are converted. That fulfills a promise that Jesus gave, in addition to the place of safety, that the Church would never die out. All Mormons, listen up! Joseph Smith was lied to!

Here we have the seven trumpets begin. When would this begin? On the Day of Trumpets!

Revelation 8:1: "Now, when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar; and much incense was given to him, so that he might offer it with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that was before the throne" (vs 1-3).

  • Where are all the saints?
  • Who are they?
  • The new saints!
    • the 144,000
    • the great innumerable multitude
    • those in a place of safety

Verse 4: "And the smoke of the incense went up before God from the hand of the angel, ascending with the prayers of the saints."

Don't you think that 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude are going to be praying every day to be delivered out of all of that? You bet!

Verse 5: "And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth; and there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake. Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound their trumpets" (vs 5-6).

Just like the first four seals, which come quickly! Five is a little longer and six is the opening of it. With this it's the same thing. Notice how quickly these come.

Verse 7: "And the first angel sounded his trumpet; and there was hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast upon the earth; and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. Then the second angel sounded his trumpet; and there was cast into the sea as it were a great mountain burning with fire, and a third of the sea became blood; and a third of the living creatures that were in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed" (vs 7-9).

Have you seen the program Drain the Ocean? There are a lot of people who went down in the ocean. Aren't you glad that God has the spirit of those who died tucked away. They're going to be in the second resurrection. Think about what it's going to like for them.

The second resurrection is going to really be something! Those who are resurrected are going to say, 'Really?! Am I alive? I'm alive!' and we'll be there! We'll say, 'Yea, you're alive. God is such a God of love that He didn't give you an opportunity for salvation, now you have it. What are you going to do about it?' What a time that's going to be!

Verse 10: "And the third angel sounded his trumpet; and there fell out of heaven a great star, burning like a lamp; and it fell on a third of the rivers, and on the fountains of waters. Now, the name of the star is Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from drinking the waters because they were made bitter. Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet; and a third of the sun was smitten…" (vs 10-12).

This answers the question about the sun being darkened. This shows that it comes back. Then darkened again.

"…and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them were darkened; and a third part of the day did not shine, and likewise a third part of the night" (v 12).

Now you have the answer as to why only God the Father knows the day or the hour. We can come close with the Holy Days, but we don't know when Pentecost is going to be, because the earth has moved out of place, the earthquakes take place.

  • How do you count the days?
  • How far has the earth moved out of orbit?
  • How far has it tilted to one side?

All of those things we don't know! Only God knows when Pentecost comes!

Then the last three are all woes, and these are tremendous battles. We won't go into it, but now we have the demons loosed out of the abyss—the bottomless pit—and Satan or Abaddon is the one over those demons. They're loosed out. They come with the plague of a scorpion.

Then there's this great battle that takes place going back and forth. Here is the fantastic thing that's going to happen: All the armies of the East, 200-million, are strung from the Far East clear over into the area of Palestine! Not all of them get there for the final battle, because you'll find that I cover what happens right after the Millennium starts.

We won't go through everything that is here, but this takes place and we go down through time, and they didn't repent, and all the death that occurs there is amazing.

Rev. 10—Who knows what the seven thunders spoke? There are two men who claim that they know what they spoke! They only go back to the seven seals. No one knows! Why? Because John didn't write it down. He was told not to write it! So, no one knows what they are.

Revelation 11:4—concerning the two witnesses: "These are the two olive trees, and the two lampstands that stand before the God of the earth."

Where do you find those listed in the Old Testament? Zech. 3—the high priest, and Zech 4, the governor of Judea! They will be the two witnesses. The Church will not provide them, or supervise them. This has to do with God and the Jews. Then the third Elijah will come, and he will take care of baptizing the repenting Jews.

Think how many Jews are going to repent when these things take place; it's going to be amazing!

They "…stand before the God of the earth." I don't think that that is Dave Pack, who says that he's going to supervise the two witnesses.

Verse 5: And if anyone attempts to harm them, fire will go out of their mouths and devour their enemies….[that's going to be an astonishing thing] …For if anyone attempts to harm them, he must be killed in this manner."

I wonder if there will still be television going! That will be something!

Verse 6: "These have authority to shut heaven so that no rain may fall in the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters…"

Verse 7: "And when they have completed their testimony, the beast who ascends out of the abyss will make war against them, and will overcome them, and will kill them." Then there's going to be a great celebration of everybody on the earth, because these two witnesses were killed!

Verse 8: "And their bodies will lie in the street of the great city…" Jerusalem, for three and a half days! Then they'll be resurrected.

Verse 11: "Then after the three and a half days, the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And they heard a great voice from heaven, say, 'Come up here!' And they ascended into heaven in a cloud; and their enemies saw them rise. And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven thousand men were killed in the earthquake. And the rest were filled with fear, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming immediately. Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet…" (vs 11-15)—the last trumpet!

Here's another thing that you hear in the New Testament: the last shall be first! The two witnesses were the last martyred and the first resurrected. As they're going up into heaven an earthquake takes place, and the seventh trumpet sounds and they are changed from flesh to spirit. The resurrection begins! The angel's of God go out and gather all of the saints. This is Pentecost!

As for that second sun, what's going to happen? Revelation 15:1: "Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and awesome: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is filled up. And I saw a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, standing on the Sea of Glass, having the lyres of God" (vs 1-2).

So, this big extra sun up there, that's the sign of the Son of man. Speculation: I think that at the time that the seventh trump is sounding, that sun is going to suddenly come rushing to the earth and come over the area of Palestine and turn into a great sea of glass. There are going to be how many people resurrected, and will be on that Sea of Glass. The beast goes all the way back to Eden.

  • Is the serpent a beast? Yes!
  • Is he the sign of all the religions of the world? Yes!

They got victory over him!

Verse 3: "And they were singing the song of Moses… [Old Testament] …the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb… [New Testament] …saying, 'Great and awesome are Your works, Lord God Almighty; righteous and true are Your ways, King of the saints.'"

Then we have the seven last plagues poured out! Go through that, they're awesome! It affects everything on the earth! The final wrath of God! Yet, men are not willing to give up.

Revelation 16:12: "And the sixth angel poured out his vial into the great river Euphrates; and its waters were dried up, so that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared."

The rest of the armies are going to come, not all, some will still remain back.

Verse 13: "Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet; for they are spirits of demons working miracles, going forth to the kings of the earth, even of the whole world, to gather them together to the battle of that great day of the Almighty God" (vs 13-14)—Armageddon!

It has to be miracles that they show the kings, because:

We've got to stop this invasion on the earth. Look at them; they're up there on whatever it is that they're on.

We know that it's the Sea of Glass!

They're going to becoming down here. We've got to stop them! We've got use all of our weapons of war to get rid of them.

Guess what happens? Rev. 19—all the saints come down with Christ! The final battle is fought and we see it right here:

Revelation 19:14: "And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses…" That's all the resurrected saints.

From Pentecost to Trumpets[transcriber's correction] is about four and a half months. That's how long it's going to take for us to learn everything we need to learn to be spirit beings. Then on Trumpets we're coming back.

Verse 16: "And on His garment and on His thigh He has a name written: King of kings and Lord of lords. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven…" (vs 16-17).

Just think of this: Here's we're coming down from the Sea of Glass and here are all of these birds out there gathering. God is the first ecologist! He cleans up His mess! This is going to be a mess!

"…'Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of chief captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all, free and bond, and small and great.' And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to make war with Him Who sits on the horse, and with His army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles in his presence, by which he had deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Those two were cast alive into the Lake of Fire, which burns with brimstone" (vs 17-20).

What happens when you're cast into brimstone? You're burned up!

Verse 21: "And the rest were killed by the sword of Him Who sits on the horse, even the sword that goes out of His mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh."

Zech. 14 says that God returns with all the saints, and all of those who war at Jerusalem, the flesh is going to fall off their bones!

Have you seen Raiders of the Lost Ark? Remember what happened when the guy looked into the Ark? That's a good depiction of what's going to happen when those fight against Christ. They're not going to win!

So, by the time that all of these things happen, and we come back to take over the earth, we've got a lot of work to do! How we're going to do it, and how God is going to organize it? Remember, we He's taking over the whole world! That's a huge task!

We'll save that for the Feast of Tabernacles, but next comes the Day of Atonement. The moral of the story of that is, you can never stop sin as long as Satan is around!
