Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Sabbath services! It's been a really long week and here we are. I tell you what, the longer we keep the Sabbath the more you need it every week. It just works that way; God made it that way.

Think about what the world would be like if they would just simply obey God! Think about how every single minister, the Protestants and Catholic priests, know that the seventh-day Saturday is the Sabbath. God says to, as we know is the first word: Remember!

What do they do? Reject! That's worse than forgetting! They know and reject! That's amazing!

Let's have a lesson on what's happening. This is not my message, but I want to comment on this. My message will be Darkness is Coming, and We are the Light!

On the podcast I went to Jer. 18 and read how God judges all nations all the time, which means everybody in the world all the time! How does He do that without coming down and doing it Himself? He created the laws, and they work very simply:

  • IF you keep them you're blessed!
  • IF you don't keep them, you're cursed!

Just like the law of gravity, everything is fine until you trip up and fall down and smash your face. What was the trip up? Transgression! Here with what they're doing—and I'm going to talk about what they're doing with the children in school—with this transgender thing.

I've got a In-Depth study on Transhumanism! I did that in 2011, and I'm surprised that people are writing me saying they've been watching it, and they want me to update it. Well, I will update it.

But human nature and sin and Satan the devil never change! God never changes. What was sin beginning with Cain and Abel is sin to the very last human being that lives, and everybody else in between. God judges the nations!

Leviticus 18:1: "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying."

Always remember that if you want to know what God says, He has it written down! All you have to do is read it. If you came face-to-face with God and He was talking with you, would you tell Him that you don't believe it? No you wouldn't!

Here He's talking face-to-face with Moses and Moses wrote it down! First person testimony, first person witness, direct from God to Moses. It didn't go through any hands, didn't go through any other writers, and here it is translated into English:

Verse 2: "Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, 'I am the LORD your God.'"

  • How many tribes were there of the children of Israel? 12!
  • How many tribes are with the Jews? 2-1/2, Jews, Levites and some of Benjamin!

There may be some descendant of a straggler there, but all the children of Israel that were taken into captivity…

{Book: America and Britain: Two Nations that Changed the World by Philip Neal}

"…say to them, 'I am the LORD your God.'"

Why did God do to Egypt what He did? There are some people who say that 'if God is a God of love, why would He do such a thing to them?' He's also a God Who judges! He gives plenty of slack for repentance!

Verse 3:"As they do in the land of Egypt where you dwelt, you shall not do. And you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Neither shall you walk in their ordinances."

Isn't that what people do today. They find out what people do in another land that they know nothing about. They go an find out about it and the next thing you know they start adopting their ways of doing things.

Verse 4: "You shall do My judgments and keep My ordinances, and walk in them. I am the LORD your God. And you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am the LORD" (vs 4-5).

Right away what do we have, first off? Choices! He lays out a choice.

Verse 6: "None of you shall approach to any who are near of kin to him to uncover their nakedness. I am the LORD."

"…uncover their nakedness…" means for the purpose of sexual activity, whatever kind comes up!

Verse 7: "You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother…." He starts out with incest!

  • What are they trying to do in some states?
  • What is the goal of NAMBLA?
  • Do you know what NAMBLA is? The association for those who want pedophilia!

Then it lists all of the sex laws!

"…She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness" (vs 7). Then it goes on down:

  • your sister (v 9)
  • daughter of your father (v 11)
  • son's daughter (v 10)

All the way down listing every one!

  • Is God specific?
  • Does He know what these things do? Yes!

Verse 14: "You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt."

  • your daughter-in-law (v 15)
  • your brother's wife (v 16)
  • a woman and her daughter or daughter's daughter (v 17)

"…They are her near kinswomen; it is wickedness" (v 17).

Right on down the line! Then it says when you get done with all the family relations, He says:

Verse 20: "And you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor's wife to defile yourself with her."

People don't think that's defilement. Today that would be 'a little pleasure trip' on the side while your husband is out working. How many have done that?

Verse 21: "And you shall not let any of your children pass through the fire to Molech…"

What are they doing? These are the laws that they're trying to bring up right now! To let the children die unattended after they're born! What everybody needs to ask is: Where would you be if your mother or father did that to you? Where would you be?

"…neither shall you profane the name of your God. I am the LORD. You shall not lie with mankind as with womankind… [no homosexuality] …It is an abomination to God" (vs 21-22).

Verse 23: "And you shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. And a woman shall not stand before an animal to lie down to it. It is a perversion."

Every one of the things I just read here are going on today, and have down through history. God says, 'Don't do it!'

Verse 24: "Do not defile yourselves in any of these things, for in all these the nations, which I cast out before you, are defiled."

  • Why are nations removed?
  • Why do they collapse?
  • Because they become corrupt!

And in selfishness:

  • What do they do? They get rid of the children!
  • What does that do?

Verse 25: "And the land is defiled. Therefore, I [God]…"—through His angels!

  • How did He visit Sodom and Gomorrah? He sent two angels!
  • What did He do to it, and the three other cities nearby, which were lookers-on? He destroyed them!
  • Why did He destroy these other three? Because they had enough corruption in them that they didn't want to undertake to try and change it is Sodom!

Remember, God said to Abraham, 'If there were ten righteous He wouldn't destroy Them! God is not mean, nasty and carnal; God has said that certain things bring sin!

  • What does the New Testament say about sin? The wages of sin is death!
  • What are we reading here? Death!

No different!

Then He goes on reiterating that you shall keep His statutes and ordinances.

Leviticus 19:28: "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you. I am the LORD."

Look at what they have today; look at all the sports figures. 'Oh, we're big, strong and tough; look at all the tattoos we have. Aren't we something?'

Everything we've read they've been doing! How can it be outdated if it's still going on?

Verse 29: "You shall not prostitute your daughter to cause her to be a whore, lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness." That's quite a thing!

  • How do we have so much wickedness?
  • Where did it come from?
  • All of these things combined?

Which is to say that IF you do this, you won't be doing those things. Why?

Verse 30: "You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary. I am the LORD. You shall not turn to those that have familiar spirits, nor seek after mediums…" (vs 30-31). That's what we have today!

  • Did you know that there are a lot of teachers who are witches?
  • Did you know that they have sanctified satanism as a 'religion'?

All of that in a country that we said that God gave us this country. But they won't read His Word to find out how to take care of the country, because they don't what establish a 'religion.'

Let me tell you a little something about the Constitution, because it gives the Supreme Court the right to rule on moral things. Everything we have read here has nothing to do with 'religion.' It has to do with morality in the land.

The Constitution talks about the God of creation and natural law. What is 'natural law'? what we just read, all of this is unnatural law! Natural law is male and female; husband and wife and children.

That's natural law! Same way with all of the animals. The animals don't think like we do. They don't get involved in perversion like human beings get involved in. That's natural law.

God also gave the natural law that you shall not plow with horse and donkey. Why? It's unnatural, unbalanced and it's not good for the horse or the donkey! Simple!

So, the Supreme Court of the United States could say according to natural law you're not establishing a religion. The Supreme Court lies guilty of not carrying out their duty, and now they're being intimidated with people mobbing around their homes, because they want to get rid of Roe vs Wade.

Those mobs remind me of what happened to Lot when the angels came down and went into his house. They've been planning this for a long time.

  • How did they get all those signs made immediately? They weren't!
  • How did they get the money to bus everybody in that they had come there? They were prepared!

When righteous, normal law-abiding people do not do what God says—and these are laws for the nation…

Of course, this eventually has to do with salvation through Christ, but here this has nothing to do with eternal life. It's physical life what we do here. They could have stopped it at the Supreme Court level by saying two things:

  • it's not natural to have same sex together in a sexual co-habitation or marriage
  • it is against natural law to kill your own offspring

No religion!

Isn't that an amazing thing? Even though it's in the Bible… I mean, you could take this out and put it in another book, and not mention that it's from God. But these are from God Who created us and knows what's good for us!

Isa. 61—this is what is happening right now. Remember when Jesus went out at midnight. Let's bring you up to day on the Passover.

  • When did God kill all the firstborn of Egypt? Midnight! The darkest part of the day!

After the Passover with His disciples and they went out to the Garden of Gethsemane:

  • Who came at midnight with the mob? Judas!
  • What did Jesus say? This is your hour and the power of darkness!

That's where we are entering today!

Isaiah 60:1: "Arise, shine; for your Light has come…"

This is talking about the return of Jesus Christ. I'll talk a little bit more as we get closer to Pentecost, because that is going to be one of the most shocking things to happen.

"…and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you."

Who is that coming on first in the Tribulation? The 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude!

Verse 2: "For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the LORD shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you."

God is going to take care of it! If people would read and understand the Old Testament and the Prophets, they would see how much there is to it. People want to know what's happening, why don't they do this? do that? do the other thing?

Look at poor Biden. Yesterday he almost lost all of his marbles completely. But what can they do about it? It would be okay if Kamala Harris was a smart woman, but she doesn't have any marbles upstairs! So, what are you going to do?

Stop and think! All you people who think that the Constitution of the United States is the best document every written, you're wrong! It can't stop the things that are going on. The Bible is the correct one!

They can take people, like those promoting all the thing that they've been promoting, give them an opportunity to repent, and if they've committed crimes worthy of death, execute them! That's what God said!

No, we'll put them in jail for life and feed them, give them an education and let them get a PhD. Aren't we wonderful people? We're so compassionate!

God is always there to help us!

Isaiah 59:1: "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened that it cannot save, nor is His ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your iniquities… [that's why we have the Ten Commandments] …have come between you and your God…" (vs 1-2).

If you live in sin, you cut yourself off from God. Yet, when you're caught in your trouble, you want God to help you! Isn't tat what they do when they arrest these who have done things that they shouldn't do. When they finally get arrested, 'Oh, God, help me!' God isn't going to help them!

"…and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear, for your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness" (vs 2-3).

Whoa! Sound like a few TV channels and news operations we are cursed to watch today. Some are so bad that you get on there and you can't even take it for ten seconds! LIES!

  • Who is the father of lies? Satan the devil!
  • Who is deceiving the whole world? Satan the devil!

That's why we have the problems!

Verse 4: "None calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for Truth…"

They don't even know what truth is! They just put a woman on the Supreme Court who couldn't even tell you what a woman is; and she's a woman! Who are you? I don't know, I'm not a biologist! Good! You're perfect! We'll put you on the Supreme Court to make decisions that affect every citizen in America!

"…they trust in vanity and speak lies. They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity" (v 4).

Verse 12: "For our transgressions are multiplied before You…"

Is that not true, do we have more sin today than ever before? Yes, indeed!

"…and our sins testify against us…" (v 12). You can't run from them! You can't bury them! You can repent of them! But if you repent of them, you don't come and say: 'O God, I'm sorry and then turn around and do the same thing again.' You come to God and you repent from the heart! Rend your heart, not your garments!

"…for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; in rebellion and denial of the LORD, and turning away from our God, talking perversity and revolt, conceiving and speaking from the heart words of falsehood. And justice is driven backward, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth has fallen in the street, and uprightness cannot enter" (vs 12-14).

When that happens and people won't listen… If you tell them the truth and they won't listen, what happens?

Verse 15: "Yea, Truth fails…"

Truth will only work with people when they believe it! Truth is given for our conduct. IF you don't turn to God—Who is the God of Truth—to do the Truth, THEN the Truth printed fails, because people haven't acted! That's where we are today.

People say, 'Vote me in and I'll clean up Washington, D.C. They get there and find out that Washington, D.C. is going to 'clean them up' with a lot of sin, muck and lies.

If the Old Testament has all been fulfilled, and there's no need to read it, why is it when I read it, it looks like our nightly news that passes before your eyes every night. Either it is the Truth of God that is active and alive today… It doesn't go away because people don't' believe it.

Remember the fellow who works with Klaus Schwab[transcriber's correction] Yuval Noah Harari, a homosexual. He was talking to one of the greatest men in the world about how they're going to setup the coming new world system. He plays the part of the female and is married to a man!

  • What kind of judgment is he going to have?
  • What can he bring for people?

He says in 50 years we will have no genders! Well, thankfully he won't live that long. God is true and we will always have male and female! All of the other alphabet genders will disappear when Christ returns!

Jeremiah 23:10: "For the land is full of adulterers. Because of swearing the land mourns; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and they wield power unjustly."

Sounds like a review of California! Look at that! Is everything dried up! Yeah, we have a big dam over here—San Luis Dam—that only one-third full. They're not sending water to the farmers to grow food. What's going to happen? Remember, I told you we're headed for terrible times. We are! So, you better stock up on a lot of things. You're going to wish you had them. Here's why it's all messed up:

Verse 11: "'For both prophet and priest are ungodly; yea, in My house I have found their evil,' says the LORD. 'So their way shall be to them as slippery ways in the darkness; they shall be driven on, and fall in their way; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their judgment,' says the LORD" (vs 11-12).

Then He also says this; v 17: "'They still say to those who despise Me.' The LORD has said, 'You shall have peace!' And they say to everyone who walks after the imagination of his own heart…"

Every evil perversion! Have you seen the ad of the really nice looking woman—blonde, long hair, nice looking face—shows a picture of her when she was about 25. Then it shows another picture where she's about 65, and she's dying of cancer from smoking. You look at the two pictures and you think: that's what sin does!

Right here in this building, downstairs there's a store called Smoker's Paradise! I park out there to come here, so on occasion I sit there a few minutes and I see all these young people coming in stomping and romping, going in and coming out with their cigarettes. Then I see a lot of these very senior citizens drive up, pull into the handicapped parking right next to me, because I have handicapped parking and they barely get out of their car, and in some cases they have a cane and they walk in there and the difference is amazing.

All those young bucks going in there think it's never going to happen to them! There it is right there. If people would just watch they would see the Bible has living words from God, and they're active all the time.

Verse 19: "Behold, the tempest of the LORD has gone forth in fury, a whirling tempest…."

There's going to be some repentance of enough value that God will honor, if there's going to be slight reprieve from what's happening. I saw poor Donald Trump out in the middle of a terrible rainstorm with a rally. He's giving his all to try and get the people, and he did mention God more than he ever has.

So, whatever sign that's good, at least that's good. But I thought, how pitiful; here he is giving his absolutely all and everything he's doing, and all the people out there want to have good things to happen, and he can make them happen on a secular level, but he's got to have someone else stand up and call the people to repentance, as well, in order for it to work.

It's worked for thee years when he was President! But did he give all the glory to God? No, he took all the glory to himself! So, Donald Trump has a Job syndrome to overcome. But he did do it himself. So, you can see that God expects some other things.

Verse 20: "The anger of the LORD shall not return, until He has executed and until He has performed the purposes of His heart…"

Think about that. Read in the book of Revelation all the purposes of God in His heart—through Jesus Christ—for the salvation of the world.

"…in the latter days… [those are the days we're living in right now] …you shall understand it perfectly" (v 20). Here's what God admits! He is saying:

This didn't have to be this way, but I left it in your hands for choosing what to do.

For those preachers, leaders, politicians and those educators altogether!

Verse 21: "I have not sent these prophets, yet, they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet, they prophesied. But if…" (vs 21-22).

So, here is God right in the middle of a denunciation saying that this didn't need to happen. But it was their responsibility.

Verse 22: "But if they had stood in My counsel… [open the Bible, look at it and see what they need to do] …and had caused My people to hear My words…"

I wonder how many people at one of Trump's rallies would get up there and say:

Look, folks, you want to change everything? You want God to be with you? Let me tell you a secret:

  • Are you willing to hear God? Yea!
  • Are you willing to do what He says? Yea!

I'll tell you what you need to do, you need to repent of your personal sins, and start keeping the Sabbath and go home and go to your local Sunday-keeping church and you demand that that pastor teach and preach on the Sabbath, and that you all obey!

There's a promise, 'IF they would hear My words…'

Think about that; that would really be something! I wonder how many preachers would do that? I don't know! I don't think the Catholics would, there are too many pedophiles and homosexuals!

But if God say that He would spare Sodom for ten people, He might hold things off for a while. But we don't know, so we have to be ready!

 ()

This tells us what we need to do today. Remember what is says in:

Verse 20: "…in the latter days you shall understand it perfectly."

Verse 24: "'Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him?' says the LORD. 'Do I not fill the heavens and earth?' says the LORD.

Some people think that means God is a spirit and just fills the heaven and the earth. NO! He fills the heaven and the earth with His creation: stars, galaxies, etc. and the earth full of everything He created. That's what it means.

Verse 25: "I have heard what the prophets said, who prophesy lies in My name, saying, 'I have dreamed, I have dreamed.'"

That's what they're saying right now. 'Oh, we're going to have a big rally and everything is going to be fine, a reawakening!' We'll see!

Verse 26: "How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies and who are prophets of the deceit of their own heart? They scheme to cause My people to forget My name by their dreams, which they tell, each one to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten My name for Baal. The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream…." (vs 26-28).

Go on TBN and Daystar and they say, 'The Lord talked to me. The Lord said… I had a dream… There it is right in from of your eyes being fulfilled.

Notice what God says to us, to everyone who is a minister, teacher, elder, whatever:

"'…And he who has My Word… [everybody has it] …let him speak My Word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?' says the LORD. 'Is not My Word like a fire?' says the LORD, 'and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?'" (vs 28-29).

Yes, we are to speak God's Word faithfully! Now let's come all the way to the New Testament to the book of Acts. Let's see about us and today, and all of those in the Church down through time who have had to live in these places of darkness, trouble and difficulty.

If you get a chance to watch on the American History Channel about the Brotherhood of the Blood. That is the most bloody martyring sect of the Roman Catholic Church in Spain. They're the ones who went after the Waldensians. Darkness is coming on the whole earth!

So, here Paul is explaining about His calling, and he was saying what Jesus told him when He knocked Paul down on the ground on the road going to Damascus.

Acts 26:15: "And I said, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said, 'I am Jesus, Whom you are persecuting.'"

Think about that. When anyone of us are persecuted, they're also persecuting Jesus. Why? Because Jesus is in us!

Verse 16: "Now arise, and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose: to appoint you as a minister and a witness both of what you have seen and what I shall reveal to you. I am personally selecting you from among the people and the Gentiles, to whom I now send you to open their eyes…" (vs 16-18). How do people have their eyes opened?

  • by reading
  • by hearing
  • by choosing

All of those together!

"…that they may turn from darkness to Light, and from the authority of Satan to God…: (v 18).

Who is the author of darkness and the authority of darkness? Satan!

"…so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified through faith in Me" (v 18).

Let's think about our calling. We always need to keep in mind that God the Father is the One Who draws us. Then Christ will lead us to repentance, baptism and receive the Holy Spirit. There are very few that follow to do that! When you look at the world and everything that there is, but that's okay, that's the way God is doing it now.

Colossians 1:9: "For this cause we also, from the day that we heard of it … [if their conversion] …do not cease to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding."

This one verse is the very purpose of every Sabbath Day, and the very purpose of why elders and minister are here to teach the Word of God. As we read in Jer. 23, we are to be faithful in preaching the Word of God. That's why I have my cowbell, because if I give my own idea, I ring the bell so you know I'm thinking on it. Maybe sometimes it's good, and maybe sometimes it's not good.

Have you ever had a thought. You first come along and think it's good thought, then you think it over and after a while and you think no, that's not a good thought! That's why I have the cowbell. I'm going to have some things when I'm working on the messages for Pentecost, I'm going to ring the cowbell long and hard.

Verse 10: "That you may walk worthily of the Lord…" How do you do that?

  • turn from darkness to Light, keeping His commandments
  • loving God
  • loving each other

"…unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, unto all endurance and long-suffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father … [keep that one phrase in mind] …Who has made us qualified…" (vs 10-12).

This is God the Father working in our lives. We need to always keep that in mind. That way you will understand that you are special and important to God. Why? Because we know that of our own selves that we can do nothing! But through God we can do everything with His Spirit and understanding!

Verse 12: "Giving thanks to the Father, Who has made us qualified…"

Isn't that interesting? You've heard it said, 'I don't know if you're going to be qualified to enter into the Kingdom of God.' Answer them this way: If I love God and keep His commandments, God the Father qualifies me and you can't stop me!

"…for the share of the inheritance of the saints in the Light" (v 12).

We're going to bring the Light to the world. Christ is going to do it, but we're going to carry it out!

Verse 13: "Who has personally rescued us from the power of darkness…"

  • He's used preachers to do it
  • He's used His Spirit to do it

That means He's doing it Himself!

"…and has transferred us unto the Kingdom of the Son of His love" (v 13).

In other words, right now—even though we live in the land here—we are under the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of God! We're not in it. How do we know that we're not in the Kingdom of God?

There are some people who say that we're in the Kingdom of God. If you're in the Church you're in the Kingdom of God. How do we know that we're not? We are under the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of God:

  • with the Spirit of God
  • with the Spirit of Christ
  • with the laws and commandments of God

Here's how we know:

1-Corinthians 15:49: "And as we have borne the image of the one made of dust… [Adam] …we shall also bear the image of the heavenly One. … [Christ] …Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood… [Are we flesh and blood? Yes!] …cannot inherit the Kingdom of God…" (vs 49-50).

So, we are not in the Kingdom of God! We're under the jurisdiction, not in. That doesn't come until the resurrection.

"…nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery: we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed, in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" (vs 50-52).

That's the only way we're going to inherit the Kingdom of God. That's what it is for us.

Isn't it something that you go along for years and years and then things change. Then all of a sudden one verse, which we're going to read comes alive as something that is almost a daily thing.

Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the might of His strength."

That's how we remain in the Light! We come from:

  • darkness to Light
  • sin to righteousness
  • being of the world to being under the Kingdom of God

Verse 11: "…to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Because we are entering the time when the world is going to belong wholly to Satan the devil! Satan is going to think that controlling the whole world and all the armies, that when Christ comes back he's going to be able to defeat Christ, win and take over the Throne of God. That's what he's always wanted to do. But Satan will be defeated!

Verse 12: "Because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and against powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual power of wickednessin high places."

Let's see how we are to respond to God! 1-Peter 2:3: "If you yourselves have indeed tasted that the Lord is gracious."

How is that? It's not something you eat! It is the feeling in your mind when you know you're sins are forgiven and lifted. That lifts the burden in your mind. That's like being fed something really good. That's why Peter expresses it this way.

Verse 4: "To Whom coming, as to a living Stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, and precious."

That's what happened to Christ. Think about this! The whole world and Satan was against Christ. People ask: Who killed Christ? The Jews say that the Romans; the Romans say the Jews! Preachers say that you killed Christ. Well, you had a part in it with your sins. But you need to look at it this way:

Pontius Pilate represented all the governments of the world when he condemned Jesus to death. The 'religious; leaders represented all the religions of the world; at this moment in time, at this place when Christ was condemned. The people gathered out there, all shouting together: 'Crucify Him! Crucify Him!' represented the people of the world. Just for that one event. So that we would all know that, yes, He died to save the world, and everyone in it!

Verse 6: "For this reason it says in the Scripture, 'Behold, I place in Zion the Cornerstone, chosen and precious; and the one who believes in Him shall never be put to shame.'"

Remember that believe in the Greek means you believe, continue to believe and you obey! If you believe you will obey. Example: if you have something and you're sick and someone says to 'take this, this will help you.' So, if you believe it, you take it. If you believe in Christ and He says, 'IF you love Me, keep My commandments,' what do you do? You keep them!

Verse 7: "The preciousness is to you, therefore, who believe;but to those who disobey, the Stone that the builders rejected has become the Head of the corner, and a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense; especially to those who stumble at the Word, being disobedient, unto which unbelief they also were appointed. But you are a chosen stock…" (vs 7-9).

God has chosen us. Not somebody else in the world; all those that are His down through time, He has chosen!

"…a royal priesthood… [that's what we will become at the resurrection] …a Holy nation… [again, at the resurrection] …a people for a possession of God, that you might proclaim His excellent virtues, Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous Light" (v 9).

Think about this: there are times we look at people in the world, all these important people. On television we can see them now. But really those whom God has called are the most important people! Those who love God and keep His commandments; those are the ones who are important to God! If there's a choice between people and God, we choose God and it doesn't matter what people think. It doesn't matter! Their opinion means nothing! They can even kill you and it doesn't change anything.

Verse 10: "Who once were not a people, but now are the people of God… [that's quite a statement] …who had not received mercy, but now have received mercy."

John has a lot to say about Light, beginning in the first chapter.

  • that Light comes from Christ
  • that Light is reflected in His words
  • that Light is reflected in the Scriptures of God

The book of Proverbs and it shows that we are to 'walk in the Light of His Word'! that means:

  • you read the Word of God
  • you understand it
  • you obey it

So, you're walking in the way of the Word of the Lord! That's how it's done!

{Note Church at Home (churchathome.org): Who is the Real Jesus?} A lot of people don't know! A lot of people think that He was just a man and that Joseph was His father. I've got big thick book written by a man who went to Bricketwood Ambassador College and he wrote in there that he believes that Joseph was the father of Jesus. Well, how could Jesus be an ordinary man that His death could forgive the sins of all mankind? Couldn't do it! The only One is Christ! Why? Because He made us!

John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and the Word was God."

  • Who was Jesus? He was God!
  • When we read the Old Testament what do we find out about God?
  • the Most High; the Father of the New Testament
  • the Lord God; the One Who became Jesus Christ

We have a new booklet coming out written by Steven Greene and me. It will be the best booklet ever produced in explaining why there is no trinity, and couldn't be. It tackles and answers every question about the different verses in the New Testament that the Christianity of the world uses to justify a trinity.

  • What's the real truth about the trinity? It doesn't really exist!
  • Who has always wanted to be God? Satan!
  • What does that tell us? That lie tells us that those who believe in the trinity are believing a satanic lie!

Isn't that amazing?

I remember talking to a woman who was down in San Diego (some years ago) and she wanted me to come to her Bible study group there and her husband found out she was on the phone to me and he picked up the phone and said, 'Who are you?' I told him who I was! He said, 'Do you believe in the trinity?' I said, 'No, there's no such thing as a trinity!' 'Goodbye!' See how people can believe in a lie!

"…and the Word was God" (v 1). If He was God, how could He be the son of Joseph? Couldn't have been!

Verse 2: ""He was in the beginning with God…. [before any human beings were created] …All things came into being through Him, and not even one thing that was created came into being without Him. In Him was life…" (vs 2-4).

We have life! Where do we get 'the sprit of man'? Right at conception you receive the spirit of man! Why? Because that is a new creation! They are amazed at how quickly that the cells divide right away. At six weeks you look like a teeny human being! That's generally when a woman knows that she's pregnant.

Those who have abortions are killing another human being that has a separate body from her, but inside of her!

"…and not even one thing that was created came into being without Him" (v 3).

That eliminates evolution! They talk about billions of years. How can you figure billions of years. It's hard to even understand. Here I am at my age and look back on my life and it's as if all the time up to now was virtually nothing. The older you get you get up in the morning and look in the mirror and say, 'Is that really you?'

Verse 4: "In Him was life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines in the darkness, but the darkness does not comprehend it" (vs 4-5).

This goes from the Light of the Holy Spirit of God to the Light penetrating into the world. It shines in the darkness, into Satan's world. "…but the darkness does not comprehend it."

Verse 9: "The True Light was that which enlightens everyone who comes into the world."

That's amazing! God is involved in the reproduction of all life; all human life and all reproduced life in the world. Even the plants!

I like to watch Life Below Zero, life up in Alaska. Here are these trees all covered with snow. You would think it would be so cold it would kill them. But then springtime comes and everything grows. Life, trees, grass, flowers, animals, everything came from God (Gen. 1). Jesus made it.

Let's see the contrast between Light and dark; John 3:18: "The one who believes in Him is not judged, but the one who does not believe has already been judged because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment: that the Light… [Christ] …has come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than the Light because their works were evil" (vs 18-19).

Isn't that true? This Yuval Noah Harari in an interview on YouTube and he says, 'The Bible, Jesus and all of this is nonsense. In 50 years we're going to remake the human race.'

I wonder how many people have had different ideas similar to that? They don't like the Bible! They don't like the Word of God! Because it exposes their sins! "…but men loved darkness rather than the Light because their works were evil"

Verse 20: "For everyone who practices evil hates the Light…"

Next time you watch some of these riots, can you imagine what's in the mind of these people? I was watching all their cheering against the Supreme Court justices. What's in the their mind and heart! It sounds so good, I want my freedom. They don't even know what freedom is. They don't know anything! But they hate the Light! If you tell them abortion is wrong because you're killing a person, they hate it!

"…and does not come to the Light… [Why?] …so that his works may not be exposed… [they will have to face their own human nature] …but the one who practices the Truth comes to the Light…" (vs 20-21).

We're called out of darkness unto the Light! We've been rescued from Satan the devil by God the Father! We have our sins forgiven through the sacrifice and blood of Jesus Christ. We have the Holy Spirit given to us, which Light from God that enlightens our mind. "…but the one who practices the Truth…"

  • What is Truth? The Word of God!

That's why you're here on the Sabbath!

  • Are you practicing the Truth? Yes!

We have the Bible right in front of us!

  • Why are we reading it?
  • Why are we doing it?
    • So we can practice the Truth!
    • So we can live by it!

"…but the one who practices the Truth comes to the Light…" That's what we do!

  • What do we do every day? Pray to God!
  • What are we doing? We're coming to the Light!
  • We study every day, what are we doing? We're coming to the Light of the Word of God to keep us in understanding His way!

"…so that his works may be manifested… [the way that he is living] …that they have been accomplished by the power of God" (v 21).

John 8:10: "And when Jesus lifted Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, 'Woman, where are your accusers? Did anyone condemn you?' And she said, 'No one, Lord.' And Jesus said to her, 'Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin no more'" (vs 10-11).

This is not a forgiveness of sin. He did not say that He forgave her. He said, "…Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more."

Verse 12: "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, 'I am the Light of the world…"

Imagine what that did to those Pharisees and priests right there. Here they were totally embarrassed. They thought, 'Now we've got Him! We caught this woman right in act of adultery.' They never explained how they did that without finding the man!

So, they thought they had Him. He stooped down and wrote on the ground, I think, 'Where's the man?' The Law say if you're caught in adultery you stone both of them, not just the woman.

"…'I am the Light of the world, the one who follows Me shall never walk in darkness…" (v 12).

That's why we remain faithful! The more that we have God's Spirit and understand the Word of God—and look at the way things are in the world with darkness coming on it—the more that we understand the Truth.

"…but shall have the Light of Life" (v 12).

John 12:35—a very instructive chapter: "Then Jesus said to them, 'Yet, a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light… [because He was going to be crucified and buried] …so that the darkness will not overtake you….'"

Think about that for a minute. Here you are gong along and then you quit walking in God's way. At first it doesn't appear that anything is going to happen. Then you go a little longer and nothing happens, but what is really happening? You're walking away from the Light, because Christ is the Lighta1

When you're walking away from it, the Light is on your back. At first, there's still a little light coming on the ground ahead of you. But when you get far enough away, there will be no light. That's what happens when people go against God.

"'…For the one who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become the children of Light.' … [We're to be a light to the world] …Jesus spoke these things and then departed from them and was in hiding" (vs 35-36).

Verse 42: "But even so, many among the rulers believed in Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, so that they wouldnot be put out of the synagogue… [good lesson in politics] …for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God" (vs 42-43).

Verse 44: "Then Jesus called out and said, 'The one who believes in Me does not believe in Me, but in Him Who sent Me.… [God the Father] …And the one who sees Me sees Him Who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world so that everyone who believes in Me may not remain in darkness'" (vs 42-46).

That's His whole purpose, but we have those choices set before us!

Verse 47: "But if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. The one who rejects Me and does not receive My words has one who judges him; the Word, which I have spoken, that shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken from Myself; but the Father, Who sent Me, gave Me commandment Himself, what I should say and what I should speak" (vs 47-49).

When you're reading all of the words of Jesus, this is what God the Father taught Him to teach, to preach!

Verse 50: "And I know that His commandment is eternal life.… [the whole goal] …Therefore, whatever I speak, I speak exactly as the Father has told Me.'"

That agrees with Jer. 23—he who has the Word of God let him speak the Word of God faithfully! Jesus did!

We're going to face difficult times! But we need to stay strong to get through them and help other people!
