Today we're going to talk a lot about prophecy and contemporary things that are happening.

However, before we get into that, let's come to Deut. 6. The reason to start here is because the world's Christianity believes that the God of the Old Testament is a harsh God. Therefore, because of that:

1. everything in the Old Testament we want nothing to with
2. it has all been fulfilled
3. it belongs to the Jews

'We won't want to have anything to do with the Jews, so we'll go with the New Testament. However, we won't go with the Gospels, because that was for the Jews. We will go with Paul—who was a Jew—and his writings.' So therefore:

• they have a costless Christianity
• they have a cheap grace
• they know nothing about God, because they don't keep His commandments

So, the first thing that I want to cover, because some of the other things we're going to cover tend to get a little gruesome. But as you can see with the events going on, there are some things very gruesome, even today. Look at the rock (music).

This is what God wanted. It's kind of like someone asked me the question years ago, and I did a sermon on it: What Would the World Have Been Like if Adam and Eve Had Not Sinned. What would the world have been like if Israel, all twelve tribes, had not sinned, but kept the commandments of God in the letter of the Law? When you read the Ten Commandments back here in Deut. 5, and really examine them, in the letter of the Law every human being can keep it.

New Testament is entirely different. While they could memorize the things of God so it would be in their minds, they did not have the Spirit of God so it became part of their minds, like with the Spirit of God and our spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:1: "Now, these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments which the LORD our God commanded to teach you so that you might do them in the land where you go possess it. That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you, and your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life, and so that your days may be prolonged" (vs 1-2); that it may be well with them.

Stop and think about all the young people that are dying for whatever reasons because of sin. Their major sin is breaking the 5th commandment, not honoring father and mother. Plus then all the others that follow after that.

Verse 3: "Hear therefore, O Israel, and be diligent to observe it… [that's what we have to do all the time; we have to be diligent] …so that it may be well with you… [God does not delight even in the death of the wicked] …and that you may greatly multiply, as the LORD God of our fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey. Hear, O Israel. Our one God is the LORD, the LORD. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart" (vs 3-6).

Verse 7: "And you shall diligently teach them to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house and on your gates. And it shall be when the LORD your God has brought you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give you great and goodly cities which you did not build'" (vs 9-10).

All the blessings that came to the twelve tribes of Israel came through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When you come to the New Testament Church, we are called the seed of Abraham, the children of promise and heirs according to the promise. That is all of the spiritual things that God has for His people.

The calling of God is special! Yes, there will be many trials and difficulties that will come along. It will be testing and it will be purging and all of that sort of thing for those who are the begotten sons and daughters of God.

This is important for us to understand, Jeremiah 18:9: "And if at any time I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build it and to plant it; If it does evil in My sight, that it not obey My voice, then I will repent of the good with which I said I would do them good. Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah, and to the people of Jerusalem, saying, 'Thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am forming evil again you, and devising a plan against you. Return now… [call to repentance] …each one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.'"' And they said, 'There is no hope… [in other words, they didn't believe in God] …but we will walk after our own ways, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart'" (vs 9-12). I want you to keep that in mind with some of the things that we are going to cover.

Ezekiel 33 is a very interesting chapter. In going through the chronologies there, I could not find one prophet that prophesied during the days of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah. I don't think I missed it, but if I did miss it, let me know.

It wasn't until the 13th year of King Josiah of Judah that Jeremiah began to preach. Here Ezekiel kind of overlapped, but he was in captivity. What we're going to find today is that the correction of God comes in waves! There will be a certain amount of correction come to see how people respond. We can say that the collapse of the economy in 2008 was one of them; that came after 9/11. That was a pretty big one.

We've been recently having more of them; overseas and at home. These come as warnings so that we can all learn and step back from our sins and God will postpone. Nevertheless:

Ezekiel 33:l: "And the Word of the LORD came to me, saying, 'Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them, "When I bring the sword upon a land…"'" There's a warning the sword is coming!

Have you been following what's going on in Iraq? The new head of ISIS (Independent State of Iraq and Syria), the terrorist group that's taken over 2/3 of Iraq and 1/3 of Syria. He's 42-years-old; he was in custody in prison in Iraq. On the news they interviewed the military high officer, I think he was a colonel or a one-star general in charge of that prison, and he knew that man. I forget the name of him right now.

He was released from that prison and turned over to the Iraqis. The commander personally released him. The man who is now 42-years-old, looked him right in the eye—because the whole group running that prison was a national guard unit from New York—and said, 'I will see you in New York City.' So, we're dealing with some profound evil out there. There needs to be warning.

• warning to the people of the nation
• warning to the people who are in the churches of the world
• warning to those brethren in the Churches of God

Then He says, v 2: "…and the people of the land take a man from among them, and set him for their watchman; if, when he sees the sword come upon the land, he blows the ram's horn and warns the people. Then whoever hears the sound of the ram's horn and does not take warning, if the sword does come and take him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the ram's horn and did not take warning. His blood shall be on himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have delivered his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming, and does not blow the ram's horn and the people are not warned; if the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But I will require his blood at the watchman's hand" (vs 2-6).

Think about the responsibility of all the ministers and pastors that are in the so-called Christian churches. There are some who are warning and I hope that they would take their repentance further and begin keeping the Sabbath and the Holy Days.

Verse 7: "And you, son of man, I have set you as watchman to the house of Israel…." It is the Word of God through the prophet Ezekiel that we are to preach His watchman message. We do not set ourselves up as the watchman on the wall, like so many have said. But we preach the message that Ezekiel gave.

"…Therefore you shall hear the Word from My mouth, and warn them from Me" (v 7). Is everything recorded in the Bible from the mouth of God? Yes, indeed! Are we to warn? Yes, indeed!

Verse 8: "'When I say to the wicked, "O wicked one, you shall surely die"; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked one shall die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand. But if you warn the wicked of his way, to turn from it; if he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.' And you, son of man, speak to the house of Israel. Thus shall you speak, saying, "When our transgressions and our sins are on us… [Are they on us now?] …and we are wasting away in them… [Is that happening to us? Economically, spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally? Yes, indeed!] …how then shall we live?" Say to them, "As I live," says the Lord GOD, "I have no delight in the death of the wicked, except that the wicked turn from his way, and live. Turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?"'" (vs 8-11).

You have two excellent examples of repentance by those who sinned most grievously:

• Manasseh, king of Judah

You read in 2-Chron. 33 all that he did for 55 years. Sent off into captivity to Babylon. That's when the Assyrians ruled Babylon. He repented. Lo and behold, God raised him up and brought him back and was put on his throne because he repented. What did he do? He tore down all the idols, cleaned up the house of God!

• King Ahab, whom God said worked himself to the worst evil possible

So God sent Elijah the prophet to him, denounced against him and told him, 'You're going to die. The dogs are going to lick up your blood and eat the flesh of Jezebel, because of your wickedness.' Lo and behold, he repented and put on sackcloth and ashes. Before Elijah[transcriber's correction] got very far away God said, 'Go back to Ahab My servant, because he repented. See how tenderly he walks.'

So, in all of this, I want us to understand that this is not a diatribe against people. It is a warning against sin—deep sin, institutionalized sin—so that they can turn.

I'll let you read all the rest of it. It has to do with repentance and turning back to God. Verse 24 mentions Abraham, again.

Verse 30: "And you, son of man, the children of your people are still talking about you by the walls, and in the doors of the houses, and speaking to one another, each man to his brother, saying, 'I pray you, come and hear what is the word which comes forth from the LORD.' And they come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as My people, and hear your words. But they will not do them…." (vs 30-31 Isn't that interesting? How many have the book, Lord, What Should I Do? If you haven't read it lately, go back and re-read it and you will see how true that is.

"…For with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their covetousness. And lo, you are to them as a singer of love songs with a beautiful voice, and able to play well on an instrument; for they hear words, but they do not do them. And when this comes to pass; (behold, it will come) then they shall know that a prophet has been among them'" (vs 31-33). Then Ezek. 34 shows how all the shepherds have treated the people.

I don't know how much they have had on the establishment-news channels about Iraq, but it's getting really, really bad. One thing, the good intentions of all that was done by the United States and President George W. Bush was this; the mistake they made:

You cannot take people, who are defined in the Bible by nature as wicked and cruel and hateful and bloody natured, and put over them a government similar to what we have. They don't know how to handle it. They don't know how it works. Look what has happened to the Middle East ever since the current President has taken over. Backed off, and they are left to their own devices. What do you have?

• war in Iraq

Guess what's going to happen in Afghanistan as soon as we pull out? In Iraq right now they are killing, beheading in a slaughter unbelievable. Remember the leader said, 'I'll see you in New York.' All the casualties, all the treasure, well over a trillion dollars to try and bring them democracy.

Unless you can change the heart—and who is the only one can change the heart? God!—you can't change the nature of the people. That's one of the reasons why God loved Jacob. Because by nature he is more peace loving. And he hated Esau because by nature all the descendants of Esau and Ishmael are a bloody, bloody people.

What's going to happen there in Iraq? We don't know. The best thing can happen is, there is a big, bloody war between the Sunni and Shiite, and hopefully that way they will eliminate many of them. But they are coming here. They will come here! That's only one threat. We'll talk about another in a minute.

What is the major cause of all of our problems? There is one major cause, singular, more than just leaving God. That is abortion! Nearly 60-million. What has God done? He has replaced the 60-million with strangers! Have you seen the news on the borders? The only one showing it has been Fox News. So, if you watch CNN you are living in a make believe reality. They may mention it, give a few seconds to it, but there are thousands upon thousands of children coming to America. What are we going to do?

At the same time, the cartel is sending over drugs, more drugs. Showed last night the picture of them. The kids coming over here and all of the border patrol over there taking care of them. And these boats were ferrying back and forth across the Rio Grande bringing people, bringing drugs, as fast as they could do it. Why? Because we are a people satiated with pleasures and we cannot get along being normal human beings!

• We must have drugs
• We must have entertainment
• We must have sex

All of those things that destroy a people and a nation. It's big time! Look at what happens when the enemy is allowed through political contributions to make 'pot' legal in Colorado and Washington. It's not just like smoking a little leaf anymore. They, in the last 20 years, have been hybridizing and making stronger and stronger the 'pot.' So, one hard dose of 'pot' may affect the person the rest of their lives or for a long time until they can overcome the effects of it. It directly attacks the brain with the THS.

• #1 thing is abortion
• idolatry of all kinds:
  • religious idolatry
  • sports idolatry
  • occupation idolatry
  • entertainment idolatry
  • false preachers

What's affecting us right now? Debt, run-away government, and the economy. How is this going to work out? Let me tell you something:

On our websites we receive 9,000 e-mails a month. Many of them for orders. We send out Lord, What Should I Do? probably 150 or more a week. We are right now running with all of our websites at about 110,000 a month average—distinct visitors—who stay on average 7 minutes. That's a long time.

Let me read you just some of the headlines here of some of these. I have a whole stack.

• Knowledge will increase? Yes!
• News will spread? Yes!
• What did Jesus say? That which is spoken in secret shall be shouted from the housetop!
• Did He not say? Yes, indeed!

Is any single Word of God in vain? or Does He not fulfill His Word to the 'nth' degree? Yes, indeed! How about the one, the prophecy there in Daniel? Knowledge shall increase and many shall run to and fro! Look at the world. Drive through a neighborhood.

I drove through a short block, right up over here from the shopping center. They have a new area that they just finished building some houses. I went by eight houses and there were 28 SUVs, pickups, and big cars. I saw one classic car, a 1956 Ford. But what are they doing with the children?

Plus remember the 273 possible cities that the Chinese can have as free trade zones within America? If you were the Chinese—and we'll talk about this a little later with some of the prophecies we'll look at—you look at America with everything that is done here, and you want all of that, and you want to conquer America. Why destroy it? Buy it and you own it!

See how quickly captivity could come? Add into it the Muslims. Let them do the dirty work and 'we Chinese will be the good saviors for you. But you will work in our factories.'

By the way, remember when I said when we saw about the pope speaking to the group of Kenneth Copeland? (DVD: Pope Francis' Video Fulfills Prophecy by Doug Batchelor.) It's going out now. In my own mind I thought Joel Osteen would be the next one. Guess what? He was the next one! He went to the Vatican. How about that. The world grows more lawless; yes, indeed!

We'll get into some of the other prophecies, so we can see why all of these things are coming upon us. But remember, remember this: What did Jesus say? Because lawlessness shall be multiplied—not just increased—the love of many shall grow cold!God does not like to come and have to bring correction the way that He needs to. He gives everybody chances to repent. When it does come for those who repent, though it will be difficult, they will be spared!

Now we will look at the causes of the problems and difficulties that we have. Remember this: the first step to any solution is:

• repentance
• change of behavior
• return to God
• obey Him

One of the fallacies that they have in making laws is this. This is how homosexuality started to come to the fore. It actually happened in a case in Texas where there were some homosexuals arrested for practicing their wares in a house. The Supreme Court ruled that in the privacy of a home, a person can do anything that they want as it does not affect others. However, look at what that one little sprout has brought about! Has it affected others? Yes, indeed! It grows! That's why we have the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because sin is likened unto leaven during that time.

Let's see what God says. Think about it as we read this. Think about this nation. Think about Britain. Think about Northwestern Europe. That about in particularly Holland today where they have legalized drugs, legalized 'pot,' and the whole society is coming apart.

Think about the inner cities where there is a lot of crime. There is a lot of drugs. There is a lot of lawlessness going on. Think about the suburbs where there is a lot of illicit sex activity and drugs going on, and sin; especially the breaking of the Sabbath with all of the activities.

Isaiah 1:2: "Hear, O heavens, and give, O earth…" God has given us a witness of the heavens and the earth that His Word is true and He will carry out what He says.

"…for the LORD has spoken, 'I have reared and brought up children, but they have rebelled against Me.'" He's given them plenty of time to repent. He gave plenty of time to Northern Israel, the ten tribes that were separated. Yes, He gave plenty of time. How long? 232 years, before they were taken out into captivity! You think that's long enough to give generations a chance to repent? Yes, indeed!

Verse 3: "'The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib; but Israel does not know Me; My people do not understand.' Ah, sinful nation, a people burdened with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the LORD; they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger; they have gone away backward" (vs 3-4). How bad will it get?

Verse 5: "Why should you be stricken any more? You will revolt more and more; the whole head is sick… [Is our government sick from the head? Yes!] …and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the top of the head there is no soundness in it; only wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; they have not been closed, nor bound up, nor soothed with ointment. Your country is a desolation…" (vs 5-7).

Have we been progressively becoming a desolation? Remember, like I said, punishments of God come like waves; if there is no repentance, another wave of punishment. If there is no repentance, another wave of punishment! What are God's punishments?

• rise of crime
• weather
• drought
• fire

Sound a little bit like local news? Yes, indeed!

"…your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land right in your very presence…" Now they are coming by the thousands and tens of thousands of children in a coordinated effort. Remember what the prophecy says?

"…and it is wasted, as overthrown by strangers. And the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, like a hut in a garden of cucumbers, like a besieged city" (vs 7-8).

Verse 9 talks about us. How important is the Church in all of this? Very important!

• What happens when the Church falls victim to the ways of the world?
• Who is going to stand for the Truth?
• Who is going to look for righteousness?
• Who is going to preach warnings?

Verse 9: "Except the LORD of hosts had left us a very small remnant… [we need to think on that] …we would have been as Sodom; we would have become like Gomorrah." What happened to them? No was one left alive! Even Lot and his wife and two daughters who escaped, they weren't very righteous. The angel told them, 'Don't turn around to look behind.' The wife just couldn't avoid it. 'I gotta see it.' She became a pillar of salt. Even Josephus said tourists in his days were going to see that pillar of salt that was being worn down, which was Lot's wife. That's how serious it is.

Verse 10: "Hear the Word of the LORD, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law of our God, people of Gomorrah." So, they have all their religion, all the things that they do. Who required of it? Their sabbaths, their new moons, their 'holy' days, etc.?

He says, v 14: "'Your new moons and your appointed feasts… [Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Lent, all of those things] …My soul hates…" If there's going to be any repentance, it's going to have to start in the pulpits of the Sunday-keeping churches. But how is that going to happen when they have been so infiltrated with dedicated Jesuits and Satanists and one-world religionists. Won't happen!

"…they are a trouble to Me; I am weary to bear them. And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood" (vs 14-15). Look at all the murders in the cities. Look at what the law has done to create one of the greatest lawlessnesses: giving women the right to commit murder through abortion. We know about the second resurrection. So, we can handle that kind of thing knowing that God is eventually going to undo it. But the point is, it never really needed to get that way.

Verse 16: "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil." Notice every time that there is a warning of vast correction, judgment, destruction and death, God offers repentance. Did we not see that with Pentecost?

What happens? Two years into the Tribulation, the heavens open and 144,000 and a great innumerable multitude repent! Isn't that an amazing thing? A demonstration to God that He's a God of love and mercy. But He is also a God of judgment. If you want to fight against Him, you're chances of success are less than zero.

Verse 17: "'Learn to do good… [has to be taught] …seek judgment, reprove the oppressor. Judge the orphan, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together,' says the LORD. 'Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword'; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it. How has the faithful city become a harlot? It was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it—but now murderers. Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water; your rulers are rebellious, and companions of thieves; everyone loves a bribe, and is pursuing rewards; they do not judge the orphan, nor does the cause of the widow come before them" (vs 17-23). What a denunciation of the system of man. Has it come upon us? Yes, indeed it has!

Verse 24: "And the Lord, the LORD of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel says, 'Alas! I Myself will vent My wrath upon My foes, and avenge Myself of My enemies. And I will turn back My hand upon you, and purge away your dross as with lye, and take away all your tin alloy" (vs 24-25). Then He says, 'I will restore you.' This is also an end-time message blending into the Millennium. Isa. 2 starts out with the Millennium.

• How did we ever get this way?
• How did it start?

Read all of Isaiah 5 and look at the woes. There are seven woes—six in Isa. 5 and then there's a woe in another chapter.

Isaiah 5:18: " Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity…" Doesn't that sound like our entertainment industry, our music industry? Remember the disgrace, I think it was one of the Hollywood productions that it was just absolutely gross beyond belief.

"…and sin with cart ropes; who say, 'Let Him hurry and hasten His work…" (v 18). Yes, let's have all the atheists stand up there and mock God, and they will. They'll mock God.

Sidebar about atheists, just to show you how true the Word of God is: Remember what happened when the Flood came? What did it say? The rain came and what else happened? The fountains of the deep were broken up! They have now discovered that there's enough water held in the earth in a little different form than water like we have in the oceans and in the clouds. But it can be transformed into that by God in nothing flat. It is more than all the water in all the oceans of the world. Is the Word of God true? Yes, indeed! It will happen.

Verse 20 is the key: "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…" How did that start? Let's just look at America and Britain. How did that start? I bet most people won't even understand how it started. With Sunday-keeping! Why? Because they knowingly were breaking the Sabbath! And how many decades and centuries have they had a witness against it?

When you read Rome's Challenge to the Protestants there in 1893, which is Appendix N in The Holy Bible in Its Original Order. Be sure and read it. They had their final warning from God as to their Sunday-keeping and all of the Protestants after that answered with a statement. That's why when you read all the statements about what the Protestants say about the Sabbath there in the 1870s, 1880's, 1890s and early 1900s, that the Bible teaches the seventh-day Sabbath! That is the basis of everything that has gone wrong from there.

They say the Law has been done away. If the Law is done away, what do you create? Lawlessness! Not all at once! Incrementally, a bit at a time; one generation, another generation. Then there's coming back to God partially, like it says there in Psa. 78. They returned to God and flattered him. He forgave them, because He knew they were weak. Then it gets worse and worse.

What happens? We go through economic bad times, because the Word of God has not been preached! The Truth of God has not been preached!. You do a little history of the roaring 1920s and that's kind of like sandbox compared to what's going to happen.

Then you look at the whole Midwest of the United States in the 1930s and what happened? The Dust Bowl, starvation, right in America because they turned their backs on God! They returned to God somewhat in the second World War and because Germany was more evil than the rest of the world as well as Japan, God raised us up to get rid of them. But what did we do after we conquered them? We gradually adopted all of their evil! Now we're pushing it to its extremes.

"…call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" (vs 20-21). 'Yes, we'll get along without God. Yes, we'll make ourselves good.' No, you won't! You know what happens to them all? They can't get rid of the law of sin and death within!

Verse 22: "Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink." Don't think that hard drugs, as we know it today, were not available back then. How long has opium been grown in Afghanistan? Going way back! They even had opium in the days of the Roman Empire. How far back does that go?

Verse 23: "Who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!" What is going to happen? Here is what God is going to do, He's going to use other people to do this! That's why I started where I started, because some of this is pretty heavy stuff. But what's happening in society is pretty heavy stuff, too. It's going to be in measure to it—isn't it? Yes, indeed!

Verse 24: "Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame burns up the chaff; their root shall be like rottenness, and their blossoms shall go up like dust because… [started with Sunday] …they have cast away the Law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel."

We'll see this happen. Remember this: It happened to Jerusalem in 586B.C. It was destroyed! It happened in 70A.D. and not by coincidence. It fell in 586B.C. on the 9th and 10th of Ab, on the Calculated Hebrew Calendar. In 70A.D. it fell on the 9th and 10th of Ab likewise.

What happened? Just like Jesus said, there was not one stone left upon another! When you look at the Temple Mount, so called, that's not where the temple stood. Those stones are sitting one on top of another. You are looking at Fort Antonia, Roman Empire property. So then, God is going to come after them, said their dead bodies will be in the streets.

Let's look at a couple of other things here that we need to understand. If you don't have the CD with the reading of Deut. 28 on it, write for it; and as we read some of these verses I want to talk about the greatest blindness and affliction of lack of knowledge and lack of understanding, and emotional identity that takes place with it. Because of our media, because of television, because of all the things available on different electronic devices that we have, we live in an environment of artificial reality!

Show me—and if you can DVR it and bring it to me and I'll send it out to everybody—one ad that does not portray everyone as happy, even though they read the side effects. Some of those things that they take for depression they give a warning: you may have suicidal thoughts. What a wonderful drug that is! Yes, yes, yes, look at it, everyone is smiling, everyone happy. Artificial reality!

Then you go watch the news and the news really doesn't tell you the news because they are politically aligned and they don't want to disturb the next-coming vote for 'Hillary Billary.'

One little caveat with Hillary: She put out her book, what a great Secretary of State she was. It's already published, it's black and white in a book. Now the whole Middle East is falling apart. Little justice by God, I think! If she gets in, if you think this President was bad, just wait. But do we have enough women out there who think, 'Oh, what a wonderful thing it is to have a woman in there. So, we will be broadminded; we'll all vote for her.'

Just like they did. 'Oh, what a wonderful thing to have a black as a President. We will unburden ourselves of all of our prejudices by voting for him.' Because it wasn't the black vote that put him in. It was the white vote, but little did they know that he was actually part of the punishment of God! That's why he does what he does.

There is another election this coming year. Then there's another one two years after that. Is there going to be enough turn around and turning from sin by enough people that maybe there can be a stop put to a lot of this and a little sanity returned? I don't know! I hope so, because there's a whole lot of preaching the Gospel that needs to be done and we can't do it if the nation has disintegrated. So, we just need to think about those things, as well.

Deuteronomy 28:1, God says: "And it shall come to pass, if…'" There are over 1,700 ifs in the Bible and most of those apply to us as human beings in relationship to God. On our new Faithful Version website—afaithfulversion.org—we're going to have one of the best search engines possible.

You know how long it takes to pop up the number of ifs in the Bible and pull up all the Scriptures one after the other to have them ready for you to watch? Four seconds! So, I'm going to repent of my 'chisel and stone,' and I'm going to have for sermon preparation on my iPad the whole Faithful Version where I can do whatever search I need to for whatever word. But I'm still going to preach from the Bible rather than from a notepad. End of sidebar.

Verse 1: "And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD your God to observe and to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth." That did happen, not because of obedience, but because of Abraham; the promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Verse 2: "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God." There it is, obeying the voice of the Lord your God.

I won't go through all of the blessings. I won't go through all of the cursings. I will let you take care of that yourself. But I want to come to a section here that's important for us to understand. What did Jeremiah tell the people of Israel? That God sent His prophets again and again! If we repeat some of these things, it's well worth understanding, because from the last time I read it, the number of strangers in the land has grown greatly.

Verse 43: "The stranger dwelling among you shall get up above you very high, and you shall come down very low." No one likes that. Remember, the Word of God is true and will be fulfilled to the 'nth' degree. The only caveat to change it is repentance.

With those in the Church, you have to maintain your relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ by loving Them with:

• all your heart
• all your mind
• all your soul
• all your being

We are coming down to the close of the age. We have greater things laid upon us than at any other period of the history of the Church. We have more given to us that we need to respond to God.

Verse 44: "He shall loan to you, and you shall not loan to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. And all… [the whole chapter] …these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you" (vs 44-45).

Notice why this applies to us today, v 46: "And they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever. Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things" (vs 46-47). Look at what we have today.

You open your refrigerator and there's so much in there, you wonder what you're going to eat. You look at this, and say, 'I had that yesterday.' You look at that, and say, 'I ate that for breakfast.' You look at the other thing, and say, 'I had that for dinner.' Many times you have enough that you fix it up and you live on leftovers for a couple of days.

Think about those in Darfur: famine, hatred, killing. If you're a Christian, your head is going to be on a pole, not on your neck. They will come!

Verse 48: "Therefore, you shall serve your enemies which the LORD shall send against you in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in the want of all things…." And without your cell phone and without your iPad, and without your computer, I add for the modern nuance of that.

There are many other Scriptures that I can go into and cover. Let's look at just a couple of them. We'll spend a little time in the book of Leviticus and then I'll pick it up here next week with some of the things that are happening. This becomes the crux of the start of lawlessness. It has to do with two commandments. Not only the first four, but let's get to the commandments relating to people.

Starts with commandment #5: not honoring father and mother. How many young people die because they don't do it? Then the next one is: You shall not murder. Then the next one that is the greatest temptation of all human beings, male and female, are sex sins. Why did God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah?

Leviticus 18:1: "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 'Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, "I am the LORD your God. As they do in the land of Egypt where you dwelt, you shall not do. And you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Neither shall you walk in their ordinances. You shall do My judgments and keep My ordinances, and walk in them. I am the LORD your God. And you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am the LORD"'" (vs 1-5). Then He lists all of the sex sins beginning with incest.

Then we come over here to Lev. 19. I'll let you read all of it. All of these are problems that you have:

• don't steal (v 11)
• don't swear by His name (v 12)
• don't defraud (v 13)
• don't curse the deaf (v 14)
• don't do any unrighteousness in judgment (v 14-15)
• do not go as the slanderer among your people (v 16)
• you shall not hate your brother in your heart (v 17)
• you shall not avenge or bear any grudge against children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself (v 18)
• I am the LORD (v 18)

The goal of sex education in school, and all the birth control devices, and all the sex toys that are available. If you want to know how many of those there are, why don't you talk to any TSA agent. You will be amazed.

Here is the number one goal that they want, because Satan has inspired it, because Satan knows that when the women of the land become whores, the land is doomed for destruction. A lot of people think God picks on women. He picks on men, but He picks on women. Why? Because, when they get involved in sex, it brings about more problems because children come along! Yes? Women are a special creation of God so that He can re-create human beings through husband and wife/mother and father.

Men have great weaknesses when it comes to women. Their minds run towards sex very quickly. So, the goal is to prostitute all the girls as quickly as you can, beginning in junior high.

Leviticus 19:29: "You shall not prostitute your daughter to cause her to be a whore, lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full f wickedness." Does that not describe us today? Yes, indeed! What is that going to do?

Leviticus 20:1: "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 'Again you shall say to the children of Israel, "Any one of the children of Israel or of the strangers who lives in Israel, that gives any of his children to Molech…'" (vs 1-2).

What was that? That was child sacrifice! What was that? Birth control, murdering childrenafter birth! Now abortion, before birth. But the truth of the matter is, every human being is what he or she is at the instant of conception. The only difference between that is growth to a baby and then brought into the world and growth to an adult.

If you offer any of your children to Molech "…he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given of his seed to Molech to defile My sanctuary and to profane My Holy name. And if the people of the land in any way hide their eyes from the man when he gives his children to Molech and do not kill him, then I will set My face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go whoring along with him to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people" (vs 2-5).

God also told them that 'if you do these things after the way that the Canaanites do, all of these illegal sex practices—I'll let you read them—the land will vomit you out, just like it has vomited them out.' That's where we stand in a lot of these things.

Once you do that, and that lawlessness spreads throughout the land, it multiplies and multiplies. And look, we go back in our childhood, and I go back and look at things that I did, which my mom and dad didn't want me to do, and you know the same thing that you did. But what happens with each generation as it goes down and down? It gets worse! Pretty soon everyone is corrupted, just like it says there in Isa 1, from the top of the head to the sole of the foot. Everyone is afflicted by it.

We'll cover some more of this, but we need to understand that we have a part in this to stand against it, to preach the Truth, and to ask God to have all of His Churches stand and witness against it, because that's what we are supposed to do.

• that's going to take courage
• that's going to take love
• that's going to take obedience
• that's going to take tithes and offerings
• that's going to take God opening doors
• that's going to take us being
• diligent with all of the Word of God
• diligent in how we live our lives
• diligent in how we love each other

All of those things are going to come together.

• it's important that we know
• it's important that we look out and see the waves of correction as they come
• it's important that we give warnings
• it's important to us

—lest we end up living in a fairy-tale reality and we forget God and enter into a full-blown Laodiceanism where God has to spew us out of His mouth.
